There is an argument that is made when people discuss sex and violence in movies......it goes like this.......how can you be against sex in movies but be ok with violence?

I think that is an easy one to beat.......

Most people are not violent, and will not commit murder simply because they see violence in a movie......

Lots of teenagers are already primed to have life altering sex and filling movies with it just increases their drive to have it.....

That is why I don't mind young people seeing violence in movies....age appropriate for sure...but I am against depictions of graphic sex in movies aimed at young people...

So..your are admitting here in open forum that you DON'T have sex?
Just sayin.

I like to view violence as long as the violence is both classy & elegant;

I prefer to watch the flirting, teasing & foreplay rather than the sex which lasts only a few seconds & is always the same. Below, after getting a double shot of her baby's love Zippy goes into her "patented" pogo sticking(stoting) @ 1:34 into vid;

The downside is one has to wait 5 months to see the payoff but I'll save that vid for another day!

What is always interesting to me is the way modern hollywood expects regular actors and actresses to do sex scenes.....it used to be that porn was something only the unluckiest people had to do, but now, regular actresses are expected to do sex scenes........or they don't get the roles in those movies.

I consider both in the same light. Porn is fantasy and young people have to know it for what it is or they will expect every pizza delivery girl to... Violence is the same. The violence of war, as depicted in Saving Private Ryan, is gritty and unpleasant to say the least. The violence of Spiderman is fantasy and depicted in a very positive light since no one really gets hurt and the good guys win in the end. We have always glorified violent heros and have always had wars. Coincidence?

Lets all pretend that Violence in movies and music doesn't encourage young people to become violent as we dont want to rock the status quo. Then we will pretend to have "No Clue" about the rise in violence and MSM will support the "No Idea" concept.
