Seven Samurai movie ??

I have seen the origonal I am not sure of any remakes. But yes it isa good movie and a great story that has been copied over the years.

I liked both though 7 Sams was a bit harder to follow because of the subtitles. About three watches and it's still fresh(still working on it). I saw it screened at Uni in the mid-70s and there were Lecturers around only too happy to fill in the backstory.

Maybe so and good answer

Only he can answer that question for himself

Personally I’m not a big fan spaghetti westerns
But I do really like Clint Eastwood

I could have compared Mifumi to Eastwood as well as Connery

They are all giants of film

Is it as good as TGTBU ???
Much deeper, but as usual we have your apples versus pears silly question .
Too deep and arty for you .Let alone philosophically questioning .
But you conceivably might pick up something -- like my pig , Percy , whom I am teaching to fly .

DIRECTED BY KUROSAWA AKIRA

Another giant of film

Right up there with Alfred Hitchcock and John Ford

It's Japanese history if you care for it. Everyone must know know by now that the Yul Brenner/Steve McQueen movie was based on the Japanese legend.
