Um. You mean the outpost which was entirely evacuated, removed and destroyed by Israel, on the orders of the Israeli Supreme Court because it was demonstrated to be illegal? Seems right and fair to me.

The excuse that Tinmore brought into the conversation is that Jews intend to remove ALL Arab Palestinians from Israel and the surrounding territory. An intention in direct opposition to the actual facts.

You mean the New Zealand thread? Hey, its not rocket science. Are you against invasion, colonization and settlement? Are you willing to boycott countries which you think are doing those things? Depends on how you define "settlements". Buildings built on land that is privately owned by someone else SHOULD be removed. Seems only reasonable. There's no double standard here.

This came up on another thread, and I want to explore it because I think the concept of 'settlements' is largely misunderstood and has become a soundbite with people not really understanding or exploring what the term means, other than its bad and Jews are doing it.

Housing with Jewish residents on land on the "wrong side" of the Green Line.

Israeli soldiers protect the settlers terror raids with automatic weapons. The settlers themselves who are not dressed as military have automatic weapons as well and you should see what they do with them under the protection of the ADF (Apartheid Demolition Forces).
