Natural processes take time, and the reality is the global temp has remained static for the last 19 years, and in some areas is already starting to cool. Your hero's constant blabbering of record high temps is based on fantasy and data falsification.

The planet is not going to die, and life will continue to exist for a few billion years yet. Absent perhaps of a nuclear war or a very larger asteroid strike. Climate change is a given, it's been going on since the planet came into being; the question is which life forms will adapt and continue to exist. So far humankind has been pretty good at that, so I suspect we'll find ways to adjust.

ALL evidence that we have going back thousands of years says your claim is bull poo. We KNOW that it was warmer by at least two degrees during the Minoan Warm Period. Civilization flourished. We KNOW that the same was true during the Roman Warming Period and likewise, civilization flourished. And we KNOW that the global temps were warmer during the Medieval Warm Period and the Renaissance was the result. What were the intervening periods like? Yup, they were COLD, and they were wracked with disease, war, and death. They aren't called the DARK AGES for nothing!

You are simply lying about what will happen when it gets warm again. The problem is, unlike the lies of your high priests, the global temp is going to be dropping, and that bodes ill for all of mankind.
