Wow, let's look at how PC Lies again.
Okay, everyone pay attention to what the Mail Order Bride From Hell did here. She compared "inappropriate verbal flirtation" with "sexual abuse by priests". Please also note that her study did NOT differentiate between Public Schools and Private Schools, and just listed "teachers".
Wow, the only way she gets to THESE numbers if she includes fellow students AND 'school employees" and lowers the bar to "sexual harassment"
This is a lot of work to excuse the rampant, institutionalized sexual abuse by clergy in the Catholic Church.
Now, as I said, I grew up Catholic. While I (thankfully) didn't have an incident like this (although the verbal and physical abuse I encountered was enough to make me want to burn down the Vatican), we all knew the priests were pervs and kept away from them.
The bigger problem was how the Catholic Church handled these guys. If a school employee is caught doing this, he's fired and turned over the police. If a Catholic Priest did this, the church's policy was to quietly pay off the families, move the priest to another parish, and the whole cycle would start all over again.
More of your government school folks......
The product of the study, titled the John Jay Report indicated that some 11,000 allegations had been made against 4,392 priests in the USA. This number constituted approximately 4% of the priests who had served during the period covered by the survey (1950–2002).
What percent of teachers are child molestors?
They quoted a study that found that study up to 5 percent of teachers engage in some form of sexual abuse of students, from inappropriate verbal flirtation to intercourse. According to the National Center for Education Statistics.Apr 7, 2017

How many students are sexually assaulted by teachers?
81% or eight out of 10 students experience sexual harassment in school. 83% of girls have been sexually harassed. 78% of boys have been sexually harassed. 38% of the students were harassed by teachers or school employees.
