No, Paul asked the right gain-of-function question that links the troublesome variants. But the gain-of-function E484K mutation in the wild-type virus shows no human manipulation and therefore rules out the lab theory. The problematic is that most don’t know that the deception by the media occurred by causing the reading prisoners to believe that the UK variant is different from the South African variant, when in reality, E484K gain-of-function mutation is found in the UK (B.1.1.7), South African (B.1.351) and Brazil-Japan (P.1) variants.
