This same “pretty good intelligence” says the items that would lead to a banwould ban pistol grips and “high-capacity” magazines, eliminate any grandfathering and ban sales of “weapons in possession”.​

where is the lie? She wants to ban a class of guns, hence, she wants to ban guns. The left accomplishes its goal incrementally. The left wants single payer federally controlled health care, so they start with a system that is doomed to fail so they can "fix" it with nationalized health care.

Don't forget, the GOP closed the gap in the US Senate, added more GOP seats in the House, elected a few new GOP governors and for the first time in over 100 years for example, NC has a GOP super majority in it's legislature AND a GOP governor.
At the end of the day Obama is going to have to make lots of concessions and compromises to get his liberal/socialist agenda even a good look.
