Senate Democrats Rewrite Obama's Jobs Bil

It's kind of weird that Barry would tell his fellow democrats to get a jobs Bill passed he would sign anything, then tell the republicans that the Bill is, "As Is", no changes.
Does barry speak with "forked tongue"?

I have no idea what this guy is selling anymore except himself...
He's in constant campaign mode...
He's NEVER in the WH,he's always campaigning.
He loves the spot light and the attention from the liberal media.Enough already...:eusa_hand:

Whatever happened to appropriations bills starting in the HoR?

Oh yeah....Constitution 2.0.

well you know that was the big bitch until the House actually did pass a budget....lets see whats the count now? we have not passed a budget ( the april 2009 was a truncated budget not passed in 2008 for 09, becasue dems held up bushs last budget till after the election) since oct. 2008....nice.

now we know why the Dems have been stalling...

Senate Democrats Rewrite Obama's Jobs Bill - ABC News

Senate Democrats are rewriting portions of President Barack Obama's jobs bill to include a new 5 percent tax on income above $1 million

The new tax would replace tax increases sought by the president. Obama's plan called for raising taxes by limiting itemized deductions — including those for charitable donations and mortgage interest — for individuals making more than $200,000 and married couples making more than $250,000.

Reid said the millionaire's tax would cover the entire cost of Obama's jobs bill — about $450 billion over the next decade.
So much for Obama and his 'shared sacrifice' rhetoric, huh. What he means is 'shared sacrifice, as long as some people share more of the sacrifice'.

lets see, 5% added onto the jan 2012 3.8% for Obama Care added for those over 250K PLUS the bush cuts may expire which would add another 3.5%.....and a 25% increase on cap gains and dividends.

so 5, 3.8 and 3.5 = 12.3%....plus the investment income taxes.......stupid, in this economy its just another nail in the coffin.

Senate Democrats Rewrite Obama's Jobs Bill…

But that’s their job, not Obama’s. Besides, the House isn’t going to do anything worthwhile.

Just a guess, but I would assume it's because the House has refused to even talk about anything that raises revenue. Let alone have a bill voted that contains as much.

Not to mention it will interfere with the GOP’s number one goal: ‘get rid’ of Obama.

It's just more of his usual lies. I don't think the man has ever spoken the truth in his life. He makes Dick Nixon look like Honest Abe.

OHHH NOOOOO!!!! Senate Dems are doing WHAT?!! Amending a bill?!!!! GOOD GAAAWD who has ever heard of such a devilish thing? Imagine the horror in the minds of voters when they find out that senators want to amend a bill. This will be the end of Obama, for sure.

The only bills Republicans want to pass are ones that screw the American middle class. Everyone knows it. It can't seriously be denied.

This is just more political theatre. Obama never expected Republicans in the Senate to actually bring it up for a vote. But Republicans did just to call his bluff. Obama's plan was to submit a worthless piece of paper that he could use the chastise the opposition. When that blew up in his face, Reid stepped in to add an amendment that would assure Republicans would block it. Now Obama can continue chastising the opposition.

:lol::lol: You're actually pretending that Republicans would have voted for the bill without the Democrats' amendments?:lol::lol:

Your messiah wanted the bill passed NOW, didn't he?

How does next week or the week after, after a few dozen rewrites, count as now, dip-shit?

Appropriations bills are supposed to get passed in the HoR before the Senate marks them up, dipshcitt....That's why there's the reconciliation process.

As others have already pointed out in this very thread, amendments to existing bills are the exception. Dumb. Ass.

Really? Where is that in the Constitution? Wanna cite that chapter and verse?

(YOU were asleep in history class, weren't you)?:eusa_hand:

Now the house won't have to reject the bill on its' "merits" - just ignore it on its' unconstitutionality.

Can't wait for the hearings and indictments that'll follow regime change!

Apparently, you're no student of history yourself. Here you go. Have another drink.

"Section. 7. Clause 1: All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills."

Are you drunk? How many bills get passed without being amended or at least debated? :cuckoo:
