That’s just nasty to say things like that. A woman that’s eight months pregnant is out looking for baby clothes and wanting to put together a crib. She’s not looking for a coat hanger. Republicans with their disgusting fantasies can be such nasty people. I don’t understand it. I thought they’re like into Jesus and God and stuff? Why are they always lying and slandering? Isn’t that like two of the 10 Commandments?

Then who is arguing for more laws that make it easier to dispose of children that survive abortion attempts?

No, Republicans are arguing that government substitute it's judgement for that of medical professionals.

If anyone is having an abortion in the third trimester, it's because the fetus is severely damaged. There's no good reason to prolong it's suffering.

Just to be fair about the after-birth abortion issue that is riling up the right, the politicians have been eliminating that physicians have said that if they evaluate the baby and in their expert opinion, determine that the newborn's is not considered "viable" (will not survive long) after birth, then they will keep it warm and comfortable and let the mother decide what is best. Who better to decide than the physician and the mother in agreement, or we non-physicians or religious nut jobs?

That criteria applies to all babies. Deprive them of food and water none will live long.
