Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, said Monday that he's "horrified" by the Norfolk Southern train derailment earlier this month in East Palestine, warning that many questions remain unanswered after a controlled release of toxic chemicals shrouded the town in thick plumes of black smoke.
Fish floating belly-up in local waterways / water reservoirs, all pets left behind / animals reportedly dead, but tbe hovt is saying its 'safe' for people to return to their homes.
'Ok, folks ...Just make sure you wash everything inside and outside of your homes, drink / bathe / wash dishes and clothes with bottled or boiled water for the next few YEARS, and here are pamphlets on all tve different cancers the toxins that were released can cause and what the warning signs that you may have them are.
Not to worry, though - your friendly govt EPA says the toxicity levels are at what they were before this massive 'chemical attack' on tour town...'trust us'. If any of you develop any of tbe cancers listed in the pamphlets or any of your children born in the next few years have severe birth defects don't blame the rail company or the govt (but you might want to start thinking about supporting Democrats' abortion stance).'

Even Democrats are stepping up on this one:
'Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., said the derailment "will have a significant negative impact on the health and wellbeing of the residents for decades."
"We need Congressional inquiry and direct action from [Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg] to address this tragedy," Omar tweeted on Monday.
'The Department of Transportation did not respond to a request for comment on Monday evening. Buttigieg did speak at the National Association of Counties conference on Monday, but while he claimed racial disparities in construction crews, did not address the East Palestine derailment.'
