It's Not The Scandal, It's Your Response That I'm Interested In

You don't really have a place in this thread.
Funny you think that someone who worked for the DCCC, a democratic congressman, and a very insider DNC PAC doesn't belong in this thread simply because they protest voted.

I certainly didn't mean to hurt your feelilngs, but the motivation for the OP is the question of how the reality of the Democrat agenda will or will not influence ones vote in the future.

If you have an opinion related to that query, I would be interested in same.

Perhaps you have read some of the Democrat voters who treated the Trump landslide as meaningless......and I would like an intelligent, adult, converstation about same.

I don't accept that language: you're not speaking to your family here.

Learn how to address your betters.

Point 1: Great Post...to one of the boards major (I hate to use the word but) TROLLs ! No positive input at all. There are people here I disagree but I can understand thier points. People that have stage 4 TDS...I don't even glance at.

Point 2: As far as the GOV is concerned and your post...that 1970's (?) R&B comes to mind...And the beat goes on. Those MOFO sit around talking about we should extend that runway and don't do it until a plane crashes and 136 or 142 (Bob Dylan) are killed. I'n the mean time they collect thier $312,000 yearly income. (and both sides are guilty)

Point 3: I am the best Catholic I can be and as such...it POs to no end that the Churchs cover up was as bad as the sex scandal.

Point 4: I love your post Chicy...tho I don't always respond to them...I read whenever I see one.

I love the feeling in your post. Love to see more or them.

There are losts of problems to write about.....I hope you have the time to write about the ones that bother you.

As Mack (post above) pointed out, there are far too many posters who offer "no positive input," or, no input at all. I want a dialogue with those who voted Democrat at this critical time for their party.

It is dissolving before our very eyes, and I don't want those resonsible for the terrible showing in the election, to keep guiding their party.

Far too many Democrats are afraid to talk about the foibles of their party......and offer real suggestion as to how it can recover.

Doubling down, more attacks on Trump, roadblocking every benefit to America and Americans that he offers.....and there are clearly many......is not a successful agenda.

Looking forward to Democrat cerebral neurons on display.......I hope.

1.AI Overview: Initial Reassurances: Following the derailment of a Norfolk Southern train carrying hazardous materials in East Palestine, Ohio, on February 3, 2023, some Democratic officials initially provided public statements suggesting everything was under control. These statements may have focused on the immediate actions taken by responders and the temporary containment of the spill.

2. "Newly uncovered emails reveal that the Biden administration knew cancer-causing toxins may have been released into the community following a catastrophic train derailment, even as officials publicly claimed everything was under control.

3.The disaster began on Feb. 3, 2023, when a Norfolk Southern freight train carrying hazardous materials derailed and burst into flames near the small Ohio town. Among the wreckage were five railcars filled with vinyl chloride—a highly flammable, cancer-causing chemical. Fearing an explosion, authorities ordered evacuations and carried out a so-called “controlled release,” sending a toxic plume into the air and blanketing the area in chemicals the Biden administration knew would pose serious long-term health risks, but the Biden White House nevertheless assured residents they were safe, downplaying the risks and stonewalling concerns in what now looks like a blatant cover-up.

4. "...seven months later, President Biden issued an executive order, sending FEMA executive Jim McPherson to East Palestine to assess the community’s unmet needs.
But new documents from FEMA obtained through the Freedom of Information Act show extensive coordination between FEMA, the White House, the National Security Council, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Justice, voicing serious concerns about health, toxins and the unmet needs of East Palestine following the train derailment.

But publicly, their message was that there was nothing to those concerns.

5. This is a critical time for analysis of a party you have voted for and includes

  • Whether the Democrat Party should announce to the world that it is socialist, or continue to hide that and pretend it is about power and greed
  • The essential violence and homicide that guides the Democrat Party
  • Dems have introduced legislation to erase 'mother' and 'father'
  • The party would actually like to abolish the nuclear family from society
  • A list of anti-democratic and anti-freedom policies and aims that run counter to Western Civilization.
  • Now add that they hid the danger to American citizens as outlined above.

Do you still plan to conceptualize voting the way you do your favorite sports team, yours no matter how they "play," or some critical thinking coming into play?

Serious questions, Democrats.

That makes a lot of sense.
Besides, they can react to a disaster faster than the feds, if they're a Red-State.

If they're in a Blue-State they can always apply for aid and get rejected.
Look at Maui and Pacific Palisades

They are all waiting to hear from their home office what the allotted official party response will be, utter contempt, or utter denial.
Maybe there is another message board of braver and smarter Democrats, and it is filled with the sort of thoughtful discussions about how the party went wrong, and what they should do to come roaring back......

......but those Democrats sure ain't here.

Our sort seem unable to do anything but deny reality.

Can you Democrats at least admit the mistake you made in imposing "wokeness," (social justice)?????

"former Soviet bloc dissidents who resisted Communist totalitarianism, and are disturbed by the totalitarian tendencies in the illiberal ideological movement across the West we came to call wokeness.

The experience of Soviet communism gives these people their instinct for danger. But Americans—whether because wokeness called itself “social justice” or because they have had the uniquely American luxury of being on a holiday from history—often don’t see the totalitarian threat.

Americans might not have faced arrest and imprisonment for dissenting from the DEI or gender party line, but fear of losing their jobs, or of having their businesses destroyed and their reputations ruined, can be an effective means of achieving the same goal. By 2020 huge numbers of people in this country dwelled in fear of being fired, canceled, or targeted by ideological mobs for deviating even slightly from the approved orthodoxy."
Rod Dreher

This could be the starting point for the discussion that might save your party.
