Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) has announced an immigration proposal for long-settled undocumented residents, pushing for a fair legal pathway. He noted that many people have lived in the U.S. for years, paid taxes, and kept clean records. Padilla said the legislation aims to update the registry law in order to expand eligibility for legal status.

Padilla said, "What tends to get lost in the conversation are the millions of people who not just are here in the United States, who have been here in the United States for years if not decades, paying taxes, raising families, otherwise law-abiding, no criminal conviction or history."

Padilla stated, "As a registry law that’s been on the books for almost a century with a deadline that has been a moving target over the last 100 years, last updated under Republican president Ronald Reagan, that says if you’ve been here for seven years or longer, you’ve paid your taxes, no conviction, et cetera, a few other requirements, you should be able to register and move towards legal status. So I introduced a bill to do just that."

Noem has had to move on to a military base to protect her from the death threats.
The Democrat Party's mass illegal immigration political strategy is undermining the fundamental existence of our country and that is that we are a sovereign nation with a border and with immigration laws.
People who have disrespected our border crossings and our immigration laws should never be rewarded with citizenship.
They can apply for a work visa if the want to work and live in our country, but that is it, no citizenship, no voting.

Some Democrat politicians have admitted that they wanted the large numbers of people coming in so that they could change districts to favor their party.
Send them all back and put them to the back of the line in favor of those that have had applications in to come here for quite some time and even more favorably select those that have merit (needed technical skills).

I will go along with that stupid, self-serving thought, when you agree to this,
After i go out and rob my neighborhood bank without getting caught, I spend the next few years abiding by the laws of the land and paying my taxes. For that self serving behavior, after the fact, you give me amnesty for the bank job and let me go on my merry way. These invader broke that law and do not have the right to be here. I would add:
1. Everyone who came here illegally after 2020 has to leave;
2. Conditional resident status for others but no automatic path to citizenship;
3. Birthright citizenship is ended; and
4. Congressional representation is based on citizenship, not warm bodies.
