Quo Vadis [as by Henryk Sienkiewicz] is a brilliantly captured historical fiction, incorporating recognizable personalities drawn from the time era. The book descriptively reproduces several already factualized chronicles involving Rome's Empire after the redemptive crucifixion of the Holy Savior, and the ensuing friction thereforth. Much of the depicted happenings throughout the textual content are of an imagined nature but there is an abounding narrative realism that has been scripturally inspired [out from The Book Of Acts]. Not only this, as yet the Apostle Paul and Simon Peter are two of the supporting characters featured with quite memorable conversive dialogue lines that reflect firmly upon the unfolding storytelling [adding validity]. Masculine dominance of the cultural period is also colorfully presented in a romantically entangled outcome [brought about due to faithful prayer] in which the lead role wins true love and thusly gains (all by way of) Jesus Christ. There are many more literary classics on the list given by link; if you want a gripping drama [in an adventurous surrounding] you may as well start with this one (see more at Visitors' Book Tips).
