He couldn't fix the potholes in South Bend, and now he is in charge of the nation's transportation.
Of course, he has no real plan to fix anything, but he sure does know how to shake more fines from American commuters. He wants to use our tax dollars to install systems which will fine taxpayers even more.
Going to give out more speeding tickets in the name of "equity." So now "equity" is about punishing everyone with fines as opposed to helping the populace. Democrats bastardize absolutely everything. It's always about more restrictions, and never about more freedoms. Instead of equal opportunity for success, it's about everyone getting punished "fairly."
This administration is beyond useless; it's is downright destructive, and it probably has everything to do with appointing people based upon their skin color, gender, or sexual orientation rather then their qualifications for the job.
Pete Buttigieg's plan to add more speed cameras to America's roads as a way patrolling them more 'fairly' has been panned by critics who say it will only lead to more speeding fines under the guise of equity and road safety.
Buttigieg announced the plan yesterday and claims it will reduce the number of deadly road collisions.
The highway plan is receiving some $17billion from Biden's $1.2trillion infrastructure bill, which will be used in part to pay for the cameras.
Buttigieg's 42-page plan includes a caveat to 'promote' speed camera use, which he says will be a more 'equitable' way of patrolling the roads than if cops were tasked with it.
