I've lived in a dictatorship, visited and have family in socialist countries but some of the measures the democrats are passing are nothing short of communism.
How can the government tell a private owner not to collect rent, not to charge late fees and to go screw himself up....and in the mean time, never put rules and regulations to protect his assets and lead him to bankruptcy. Why can't we do the same for grocery markets, car dealers, hotels and restaurants? Why are they targeting small landlords that worked all their life and depend on their small investment?
At this rate I say we need to abolish both parties and appoint non judges or law enforcement to run things, this insane.

One can be a Centrist and a supporter of property rights and STILL oppose putting people on the street during a global pandemic.
But, of course, that would not occur to a right-wing hyper-partisan hack such as yourself.
By statute, the government is allowed to do such things, using Emergency Powers granted to them by legislative actions in the past.
Don't like it? (1) cure the pandemic or (2) successfully challenge it in court or (3) elect different representatives and change the law in your favor.
Or perhaps you'd like to explain to the world how that unvaxxed young child-citizen now living under a bridge during a pandemic was the right thing to do?

No need.Thanks for proving my point. Any law or policy that is in direct conflict with the Constitution is invalid. Seizing control of private property without compensation is in direct violation of the takings clause in the 5th Amendment. Interfering with the obligations of a contract is in direct violation of Article 1, Section 10, Clause 1.
You're free to show me where there's a "because I want to do something different" exception, I'll be damned if I can find it.
What you need to do, is decide if you want to be governed by laws or the feelings of commies.

Common sense and critical thought in their legislation is in short supply.In this case is common ownership, that means that the government has more say on one's property and allow others to use it without asking the owner if he is ok with that or not. Is worse than communism actually.

Go thou and find the statute in that State which allows its government to issue such emergency decrees.
If you find the statute insufficient then feel free to challenge it in the law courts.

Go do your homework... go find the statutory authority for undertaking emergency measures during a public health crisis.
