If Ariens doesnt rest his starters, its a no brainer that cards win.If not, then Hawks could win this game. Looks like my prediction early in the season that the cards will be the team from the NFC to make it to the superbowl this year will indeed hold up.
Face it,Cards are playing well right now,Seahawks are not. They had a chance to show what they could do against a very physical team sunday when they played the Rams,a team that is not a pushover like the cleveland clowns and ravens and yet, they looked like a bunch of clowns.this isnt their year.
as long as Palmer stays healthy, then I dont see anybody stopping the cards march to the superbowl this year.dont know if they will win it but they will be the team from the NFC that gets there.
Face WHAT ??? The Hawks had a horrible game where a crazy number of stupid things happened...no correction...stupid things that they did. Why did they seem to come unglued? Not everyone made mistakes. Carroll told Wilson to throw the hail mary. Stupid. Carroll's assistants sold him on two stupid challenges so he had none left to reclaim the Rams's fumble that Thomas clearly had possession of. Bevell let the nearly 300 pound fullback with all of 4 carries all season run the ball and he fumbled which the Rams ran back for a TD. Wilson had an outstanding run but when he attempted to slide head first the ground hit his arm and the ball popped out. Freaky shit. The Rams had ONE...count em ONE good long pass that Sherman underguessed and it was caught for a TD. I can live with the opponent throwing ONE TD pass.
Yes, the Rams looked better than the Hawks on Sunday but WHERE are the yards to verify this great victory? They do not exist. The Hawks Center screwed the pooch on two drives with crazy snaps. OOPS! there goes TWO drives down the drain. Clearly something was wrong with Lewis's thinking process on Sunday. He should have just told Cable that he wasn't able to play for whatever reason. For him trying to deal with whatever was ******* up his football thinking process the Hawks suffered greatly and gave the Rams a serious advantage when the ball was snapped. Lewis was responsible for a couple of penalties also. He had a crazy fucked up day.
Wilson made a few mistakes as well but mostly because the plays got off badly he never really got an opportunity to use his skills.
Our TE Wilson suffered a concussion and we were already way low with TE replacements.
I get it. The Hawks looked horrible on Sunday. In reality a handful of key players had a horrible day and the team and coaches and fans were made to look stupid for it.
All that stepping on our own dicks made the 6-8 Rams look great.
In a way I'm glad we sucked. There will be nothing the play off opponents can use against the Hawks coming out of that game. Ya...it's weak...but it's true.
Lewis won't be snapping the ball as carelessly this Sunday as he did against the Rams or he will be pulled out of the game. Carroll will be prepared to deal with the Center position as Lewis showed that he isn't entirely dependable.
You can ignore the 5 weeks of historic excellence and decide that those games never happened if you want. You can evaluate the Seahawks solely on the bizarre game on Sunday if you want.
I accept the loss and will put it behind me as in the big picture it cost the Seahawks nothing but some embarrassment.
