In the season ender Seattle goes to Arizona.

Palmer is playing well. His weapons are at the top of their game.

Even so the Cardinals only beat the Seahawks by 7 points in week 10...39-32

If the Hawks O-Line can return to recent composition we can go toe to toe with them.

After the debacle against the Rams I have no idea which Hawks team will show up or if the Cards will sit anyone out.

Who will win.. ??????

Born In Seattle and living in Arizona so I am a bit tore on this one. The match up is REAL close to equal so I think it will break down to three things.
First mistake.
Most mistakes.
Last mistake.

Until the Rams game, the Seahawks were starting to look unbeatable again.
Losing at home to a team with a losing record is unforgivable. I say they are not likely to get past the first round.

Carroll is very good at convincing his team to put the last game behind them wins and losses. Yesterday's game means nothing on Sunday.

Wilson is a NINJA !!!

Quoting Pete Carroll after the pounding Wilson took from the Rams Defense on Sunday///and I quote

"Asked how Wilson is able to come out of a game like that relatively unscathed, Carroll said, “He’s a good athlete. He’s got some ninja in him or something. He can get out of those hits. He’s really great at avoiding getting banged. He got hit a couple of times, but he’ll be fine for this week.”

Well...there it is...in black and white. We gotz a dang NINJA for a QB!!!

Oh and other less interesting news is that Marshawn Lynch is supposed to be practicing this week for a chance to play in AZ. The only real news is that Lynch NEVER practices.. EVER! Why he would start now is anyone's guess. What with how our RB's sucked on Sunday I guess this is good news entering into the playoffs. One thing for sure is that Marshawn's legs will be fresh. He was protecting his abdomen all season up till Thanksgiving when he went under the knife.

Wilson getting time to throw combined with a healthy and rested Lynch should add an interesting dimension to the Hawks Offense.

If Ariens doesnt rest his starters, its a no brainer that cards win.If not, then Hawks could win this game. Looks like my prediction early in the season that the cards will be the team from the NFC to make it to the superbowl this year will indeed hold up.

Face it,Cards are playing well right now,Seahawks are not. They had a chance to show what they could do against a very physical team sunday when they played the Rams,a team that is not a pushover like the cleveland clowns and ravens and yet, they looked like a bunch of clowns.this isnt their year.

as long as Palmer stays healthy, then I dont see anybody stopping the cards march to the superbowl this year.dont know if they will win it but they will be the team from the NFC that gets there.

Dude how much NFL football do you watch? records mean NOTHING when it comes to division games.any team can beat any team on any given sunday and the Rams are hardly pushovers like the Ravens and Cleveland Clowns. Also divisional opponents tend to step up their game against a division rival no matter how bad a record they have.

If this loss had been to Cleveland or Baltimore you would be correct but the Rams ALWAYS play the Hawks tough.their games the last two years they went to the superbowl in seattle, the seahawks had to fight and earn it.It wasnt a walk in the park for them.

Never mind the Rams have been a joke franchise the last 13 years or so.The Rams are a better team than what their record indicates. They have one of the very toughest defenses in the league that punishes offenses.they are tough to run against.

I think they can beat any team in the NFC once the playoffs begin, but the one team I seriously doubt that they will be able to get past and beat to get to the superbowl though is the cardinals.

they could make it to the NFC title game and play them but I dont see them beating the cardinals as long as Palmer is healthy.

Face WHAT ??? The Hawks had a horrible game where a crazy number of stupid things happened...no correction...stupid things that they did. Why did they seem to come unglued? Not everyone made mistakes. Carroll told Wilson to throw the hail mary. Stupid. Carroll's assistants sold him on two stupid challenges so he had none left to reclaim the Rams's fumble that Thomas clearly had possession of. Bevell let the nearly 300 pound fullback with all of 4 carries all season run the ball and he fumbled which the Rams ran back for a TD. Wilson had an outstanding run but when he attempted to slide head first the ground hit his arm and the ball popped out. Freaky shit. The Rams had ONE...count em ONE good long pass that Sherman underguessed and it was caught for a TD. I can live with the opponent throwing ONE TD pass.

Yes, the Rams looked better than the Hawks on Sunday but WHERE are the yards to verify this great victory? They do not exist. The Hawks Center screwed the pooch on two drives with crazy snaps. OOPS! there goes TWO drives down the drain. Clearly something was wrong with Lewis's thinking process on Sunday. He should have just told Cable that he wasn't able to play for whatever reason. For him trying to deal with whatever was ******* up his football thinking process the Hawks suffered greatly and gave the Rams a serious advantage when the ball was snapped. Lewis was responsible for a couple of penalties also. He had a crazy fucked up day.

Wilson made a few mistakes as well but mostly because the plays got off badly he never really got an opportunity to use his skills.

Our TE Wilson suffered a concussion and we were already way low with TE replacements.

I get it. The Hawks looked horrible on Sunday. In reality a handful of key players had a horrible day and the team and coaches and fans were made to look stupid for it.

All that stepping on our own dicks made the 6-8 Rams look great.

In a way I'm glad we sucked. There will be nothing the play off opponents can use against the Hawks coming out of that game. Ya...it's weak...but it's true.

Lewis won't be snapping the ball as carelessly this Sunday as he did against the Rams or he will be pulled out of the game. Carroll will be prepared to deal with the Center position as Lewis showed that he isn't entirely dependable.

You can ignore the 5 weeks of historic excellence and decide that those games never happened if you want. You can evaluate the Seahawks solely on the bizarre game on Sunday if you want.

I accept the loss and will put it behind me as in the big picture it cost the Seahawks nothing but some embarrassment.

still doesnt take away that I can say I TOLD YOU SO.lol the fact they finally faced a team that wasnt a pushover like the Ravens or Browns and struggled as I had a feeling they would.lol.

if they can go out next week and dominate the cardinals like they did the browns and ravens,I;ll be impressed with them and tip my hat off to them but so far as of yet, im not the fact the teams they been blowing out have all been pushovers.

the steelers couldnt even beat that crappy Ravens team who unlike the Rams IS as bad a team as their record indicates.lol yet they scored over 30 points against you.Had the offense not had its best day of the year then they would have lost. so yeah I would say a team that loses to a shitty crappy team like baltimore when you have everything on the line is a pushover.

with the vikings? any team can have a bad day at the office.that was just their day that day. I been hearing reports lately as well that viking fans are concerned how they will fair in the playoffs since Briddewater has been inconsistant this year.

btw Huggy,is this YOU CBS did an an interview and write up on? come on fess up,you can admit it was you?:lmao:

Man loses over $150K after betting on the Seahawks to beat the Rams

Sorry ...I wouldn't waste money like that. I don't gamble....At least not like that. I may take chances on the outcome of a project that could easily cost that much or more but the idea of flushing huge amounts of money down the toilet or handing it over to some gambling house makes me physically ill. I don't get the attraction towards that kind of entertainment. I've risked my safety hundreds of times but I was instilled by my respected relatives from an early age in the value of hard earned money.

Nope..use it to buy some property..build a house or business on it. Teach someone how to learn a skill and use 150K to guarantee the property is self sustaining.

Maybe loan it to someone with a good idea to realize their dream.

There are a thousand ways to respect the money. Gambling isn't one of them.

not when it it towards the end of the season and you're suppose to be peaking. that is WHY till last sunday i took the steelers as a serious superbowl contender since they were playing well in recent weeks heading into that game, now it looks like they have shown their true colors that they were a fluke losing to one of the crappiest teams in the the league.

had this been a mid season game for the steelers i would brush it off as no big deal bad day at the office, however since it is towards the end of the year and you want to be at your best, thats pathetic laying an egg like that.

I look for Seattle to have a hard time this Sunday in Glendale.....I just hope when Seattle faces either GB or the Vikings in the wild card they are closer to healthy.

I hear it's gonna be a hot one.........a real scorcher in Az. this weekend........possibly 110 degrees...........:lmao:.

This should be a very good game. Arizona has the edge because they have been very consistent. Seattle can certainly win but they are up and down so who knows which team will show up.

Carroll swears he will play to win... Ya sure... But with WHAT lineup? Every guy that can put on a set of pads has a boo boo. Pete can hold out anybody he wants with the excuse that they have some kinda hangnail or bad hair.

Looks like Lynch will not play and our "run by committee" has run it's course. If Okung is still out we could easily fall back into the Center, Lewis, going all "Rainman" on us again.

Fortunately we have no pressure to win on Sunday...5th seed...6th seed...not much difference..in fact a 6th seed against GB might be the path of least resistance the way they have been playing lately and we DO know the Packers.

As long as Wilson doesn't try to put the team on his back for this game and get squished trying desperately to save a 3rd and 30 or throw the ball in such a way that Baldwin or Kearse gets creamed I am starting to not give a poop if we win this one or not.

Let's let the PLAYOFFS be the playoffs and STFU about how every game is a championship opportunity ...at least for week 17.
