Scott Pelley says Bari Weiss wanted 60 Minutes to say Renee Good was ‘driving toward officer’

"Drive baby, drive!" ☠️
Another quote that fits this thread...
"We believe truth over facts."
--Joe Biden
There's a LOT of that crap here.
🙄

As expected, she wanted him to tell the truth, and he refused. Democrat propaganda reporters can't tell the truth, their whole narrative is built on lies and deception. It's not reporting the "news" , it's reporting whatever narrative they are told to report.

We never received any comments from Renee Good's girlfriend/wife who was with her since the event. Just to get the reasoning would be interesting.

Saying she was driving towards the cop makes it sound as though she was intentionally trying to run him down and would be very misleading.

Bari Weiss needs to let the journalists do their job.

No, she's not. She was trying to get footage on air that supports the regime's lies about the incident because David and Larry Ellison (CBS's parent company's owner) are allies of trump. Which is why Weiss was hired in the first place.
OR, she started her own media company that actually tried to be fair and balanced and it surged. CBS saw this and hired her to come clean up their own koolaid-drinking news organization. Scott Pelley's utter bafflement regarding his own bias is a symptom that Weiss' work will be cut out for her.

There's 30 years of rock solid evidence of this bias, going back to Bernard Goldberg's 2001 book Bias: A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News. I know how the left demands evidence of every claim.

I see. Scott was told to tell the truth and he wouldn't do so because I don't know, severe TDS where the brains and eyes don't connect, but propaganda and mass hysteria do.

He's supposed to be a news guy, makes sense he was fired. Personally I never liked him, go figure, liberal democrat "news" is the worst.

well we got video....she was driving towards the officer, hence why he was hit.

Well, I saw the video and she WAS driving towards the officer, her front left tire spun on the ice trying to pull out, and the officer had to jump back to avoid being run over and he was still clipped.

Had he not jumped back or had he slipped and fallen, she probably would have run him over. This was caught from several different camera angles including the officer's own body cam.

He merely followed police SOS when feeling one's life is being threatened and shot in self defense.

Saying so on 60 Minutes would have destroyed a great bit of the Left's story about the roles of ICE.

I hope he took a nice vacation after his Pretti Good shot.

She backed into the spot she was parked at. You don't back into a parking space with your wheels turned, certainly not opposite the direction you came from.

I studied this in detail last winter:
  1. She hit the gas with her tires straight causing her FWD to spin.
  2. After the tires caught traction and started moving her, she began cutting her wheel to the R as the SUV began rolling forward.
  3. She came forward at the officer as she cut the wheel and he fired.
  4. He was almost knocked over backwards as he tried avoiding her. That is when he fired.
