I can respect that, unfortunately there has never been any honesty or integrity, from either party.

Agreed. And sadly I don't think there's any fixing that system. It does seem like ultimately, we're arguing in futility here and no matter how rational or common sense an argument a person makes here, it's irrelevant. It isn't going to change anything so why bother? It really makes one cynical about the state of things. At least for me. Unity shouldn't be that difficult, even with opposing ideas. But everyone would rather hate everyone else instead of listening to and understanding why someone feels or believes the way they do. How are we supposed to elevate great leadership when we're to busy tearing everyone else down? So yeah, I kind of lost belief in this nation and the hope that it can be someone wonderful.
