I have a hard time believing anyone with a pinch of competence would really want this. Personally I think they're just toying with their base who've been tricked into believing this BS, similar reparations. Then again they're the Demonic Party so who's to say.
Susan was raised under a modest means, her father is a painter and her mother works in a flower shop. They supported Susan as she attended community college and semesters at a workable University toward a career in the medical field. Thanks to her good effort Susan rec'd a minor scholarship, nothing to write home about, but every little bit helps. Susan's education runs about $1500 a semester, some of which she or her parents were able to write off toward a tax credit under existing policy. Susan finished with a 3.94 GPA and only owes her father a month's insurance premium, which comes easy because she has her choice among employers starting at $35-45 an hour tomorrow.
Brenda wanted to be plumber like her dad. She earned $10 an hour as an apprentice and in five years she invested in her own business pulling down $100 an hour. She only works 25 hours a week because she enjoys skiing.
Jake went to Penn State because his father was in the fraternity as well. He graduated with a degree in history and 100K debt. Jake taught 7th grade education for a short time, the administration and students scared him off, so instead Jake earned $10 an hour as a plumber's apprentice, and he paid off that loan in five years.
Phoenix was raised gender neutral before she accepted her role as a female, and boy did she ever. Her parents are typical self-absorbed upper middle class Californians, and they spoiled Phoenix rotten, she was their only child. They argued over money often, and her parents would only support 3/4 her way through the only place, school and education she was interested in, drama and on the UCLA Trojans campus baby, she's due the good time she's used to, but now she needs a loan for it.
Thankfully Phoenix' tuition runs just 18K a semester because she's local. In five years she graduated with a 2.0 GPA and alcoholism. Thanks in part to the sorority Phoenix is no longer attractive, but she didn't have a shot at Hollywood anyway. Phoenix is now a part-time bartender in a well tipped establishment, but she blows most of it up her nose legally in the great city of Portland. Phoenix is 52K in debt but the Democrats have her back.
