I would not be surprised to find did Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi were collaborating together to pay some terrorist group to attack the United States during the shutdown, to kill Americans, just to demonize Donald Trump for being responsible for the attack during the shutdown.

They honestly hate the president enough to sacrifice Americans to accomplish this...IMO.

In peacetime, the Coast Guard belongs to the Dept. of Transportation, not the military. That is why they aren't getting paid, because DOT is considered "unnecessary". Tell Trump to open up the government.

House Dems Reject Three Bipartisan Bills Which Would Pay Federal Workers During Shutdown - Right Side Broadcasting Network

Louisiana Representative Steve Scalise offered his take on the resistance saying, “This is not the first, but the second time in the last week that Democrats have voted against paying our federal workers while we continue negotiating to secure our border and reopen the government.”


House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy also weighed in saying, “we are working to get federal employees paid and give Democrats time to negotiate an end to the shutdown.”


Despite his remarks, the majority of House Democrats have refused to vote for the measure.


This comes as two competing bills failed to advance in the Senate on Thursday, which would have reopened the government......................

Agreed. But, if they don't pay the CG, then the GOP can no longer claim to "support the troops". Yeah, I know, the CG belongs to the DOT in peacetime, but they still have weapons and act in a military manner.

Me personally? If the GOP and the president want to pay the CG, declare them to be a part of the military and they would be funded.

I mean, you conservatives already think it's okay to take 5.7 billion from the current military budget to fund the wall, don't you think funding the CG is more important?

The President is waiting for a bill from the Speaker of the House that has been negotiated, includes compromise, and sits on his desk. He will not acknowledge 'Hostage Demands' issued to the Senate and WH.

Pelosi's own party members have broken from her to start negotiating with Repu Lucas, have declared openly that Nancy Pelosi should give the president the money he is asking for, has openly declared that Pelosi is not willing to negotiate or compromise which is how things are done in Washington.

The failed speaker of the house has demonstrated that her number one goal in all of this is not to open back the government, not to alleviate any pain she and her fellow Democrats are causing on the American people, and not to secure our borders. She has made it clear that her shut down is about damaging the presidents chances for reelection in 2020.

The failed Speaker of the House has attempted to abdicate her role as Speaker, her duties and responsibilities as Speaker of the House, by attempting to sneak out of the country during the Middle of her shut down.

In historic, unprecedented fashion Nancy Pelosi has become the first Speaker of the House in US history to, through Petty partisan hatred, cancel a State of the Union Address for purely political theatrics.

This is the level of disgrace an embarrassment that she and her Democratic party has dragged this country down to, all undeniably for personal and party benefit over country....

...all because the Democratic Party and the snowflakes have not been able to accept the fact that they're proven Criminal candidate, who could not even win the party's nomination on her own even with the primary rigged, failed to win the presidency against Donald Trump.

In fact, if you will look in the Guinness Book of World Records under the category of most epic, historic case of butthurt sore loser syndrome' you should find a picture of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party.

On a serious note, this is not funny. For two years they have failed to accept the outcome of the 2016 election, have carried on this witch-hunt, have attempted to undermine this president and the current government of the United States, and now holds that government and its people hostage in order to damage the current president's chances at reelection in the next presidential election in 2020.... sadly, it seems, because the speaker of the house has no confidence in any candidate they can put forward against President Trump and feels like the only way they can beat them is to do what they are doing right now with the shutdown.
