Schiff, a fav of Repubs, puts Ed Martin on ice.

Yes, Schiff got a pardon as a preemptive move to block Dotard from seeking revenge against 1/6 committee members.
Seeking revenge? If Schiff for brains, and the other hacks have done nothing wrong, why would they need a pardon?

So it implodes like the Democratic Party did
Did it? Despite the onslaught of misinformation about "open borders," the "immigrant invasion at the border," and "Biden's inflation," the POT only maintained control of the House by the slimmest of margins. Greatly aided by gerrymandered district maps in Repub controlled states.

Yeah, those darned blue wall states sure are gerrymandered.... :laughing0301:

You have to have lived under a rock for the last 8 years to ask that question. Members of the FBI and DoJ were guilty of nothing but investigating the crimes of trump's J6 mob and his own crimes in trying to steal the election and hold on to classified docs he stole. Yet some were fired by hacks like Pam Bondi and Emil Bove for doing their jobs in acts of retribution carried out for the Doddering Dotard.

How in your deluded mind do you think Schiff broke the law?

I understand if you don't want to examine the facts. They tend to make MAGAists uncomfortable.

The 2022 election for the House of Representatives was so close1 that if any number of things had gone differently, Democrats might have kept their majority. And one of the biggest things that affected the battle for the House was redistricting — the decennial redrawing of congressional districts’ lines to account for the results of the 2020 census.

But was the impact of redistricting significant enough to swing the House to the GOP? As I wrote in June, the 2021-22 redistricting cycle didn’t radically change the partisanship of the national House map, so I mostly agree with those who say redistricting didn’t cost Democrats the House. But at the same time, those who say Republicans won only because they gerrymandered are also technically correct. How can both things be true? Allow me to explain.

What? So, you think people own, and are entitled to their jobs once they have them...Even if they were directly involved in this case, acting on their political biases to attack opponents of Democrats? GTFOH....You don't own your job, neither do they.

Look at you, acting like Democrats don't do that when they are in power....We didn't create the game dummy, we're just playing by the rules YOU people created...Cry louder.

Senate Judiciary Committee member Adam Schiff (D- CA) announced on Tuesday his intention to place a hold on the nomination of President Donald Trump’s nominee for D.C. U.S. Attorney Ed Martin.

In an April 1 statement explaining his decision, Schiff said Martin has “demolished the firewalls between the White House and his own office within the Department of Justice.”

“Confirming him to serve permanently in the role he has already abused in his interim capacity would cross the prosecutorial Rubicon that every single Senator would come to regret and that would threaten the rights of Americans from all walks of life,” he added.

Schiff’s announcement comes only a day after a group of about 100 former assistant U.S. attorneys requested that Senate Judiciary Chairman Sen Chuck Grassley (R-IA) “set a public confirmation hearing,” to allow witnesses to testify against Martin’s confirmation, according to reporting from the New York Times.

Ed is currently engaged in seeking to invalidate Biden's pardons of family members. Just the kind of performative hackery trump so enjoys. Previously he.........

Earlier this year, interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin sent letters to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) for what Martin described as “threats” to public officials.

Martin is a blight on the DoJ..........or would be if the agency hadn't already been corrupted by Pam.
Your hero Schiff is a blight on humanity. The Biden DOJ was a pig style of corruption and fraud.

They were fired because they participated in investigations of trump and his goons.

You appear to be having difficulty accepting, and defending, that reality.

Don't you ever get tired of invoking unproven talking points? Did Sean Hannity lay that pile of shit out for you?

They are not Democrats, they are Communists. So, legislation is voted on that way.

I feel certain we aren't going to be able to see eye to eye on this. The committee members produced overwhelming evidence, partly based on the testimony of former trump admin employees, regarding the plot to overturn the 2020 election orchestrated by trump. The most egregious violation of a prez's oath of office in US history.

In response to that you have denial. Therefore, allow me to anticipate your weakass, ineffectual reply by saying, in all sincerity, GFY.
Schiff is a lying, grandstanding scumbag. Plain and simple.

Yep, I know y’all had a collective meltdown over these agents being fired. Because you thought that the plan y’all put in place where it didn’t really matter who was in the WH. If you lost? Well, you could just carry out you will through the bureaucracy. Then you just had to take it further, and corrupt the FBI, and DoJ as a whole. And go after Americans that just wouldn’t buy your bullshit. You went after parents in PTA meetings, standing up for their children. You went after Americans of all stripes, and got really serious after J6, using civilian libs, sitting home and targeting anyone even on the grounds of the capital that day, who did nothing.

Americans watched, and saw how you were weaponizing our Federal Government against us, all because you couldn’t stand opposition.

You lost because of it, now you’re whining….tough shit.

You people are just unAmerican trash.
It's disappointing, but not surprising, that I have to explain everything to you like you're a child.

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said President-elect Trump’s threat to throw members of the House committee that investigated rioting at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, in jail is a signal “that no one better hold him to account.”

“This is not just about retribution against those of us on the committee,” Schiff said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Monday.

“This is about sending a message that no one better hold him to account in his second term. … He is intent on trying to break down these checks and balances in our system,” Schiff added, referring to Trump. “That’s where the danger lies more so than to the members of the committee.”

Maybe if you didn't try to pass off false narratives as facts all the time, you wouldn't be so confusing in your delivery....

It wasn’t misinformation it was correct, March 2021 there was a border crisis and the Biden administration lied, then the next four years continued to do nothing about it. They didn’t need a new bill, they didn’t need more money, they just needed to enforce the laws that were already established.

Are you talking about Biden’s calling it “transistors inflation?”, another total lie in a number of lies the Democratic Party spewed.

To me it was amazing that Trump won, why? Because he was so polarizing, they usually always lose unless they go up against an equally polarizing person, but in 2024, the Democrats loss the Electoral College by a wide margin and lost the popular vote and Harris managed to get 8 million less votes than Biden in 2020 and all you could do is blame misogyny and racism. How unaware the Democratic Party is. Despite how unlikable Trump was the Democratic Party could not beat him. Why? Lots of reasons but you go with what makes feel safe and secure, reality isn’t something you handle well.

Maybe if you even once tried to refute the facts I present you'd have some credibility.

What crime did Schiff commit as part of his work on the J6 committee?

That's a classic case of the kind of misinformation I'm talking about. I do think Biden was too aggressive in trying to reverse the inhumane policies of Dotard regarding immigration but the suggestion he did nothing about it for four years is a demonstrable, overt lie.

Republicans kill border bill in a sign of Trump's strength and McConnell's waning influence
