Yes people THIS is the ignorant "logic" companies have for cutting out products and services.

Instead of cutting out the LEAST selling products to make more production room for the best selling products...........they just discontinue the products that make them the most money.

The reason is very clear.
They thought this was only going to be a small niche kind of thing.
It grew to become a major seller. And off the top you think that can only be a good thing right?
Wrong.
Why? They said so. "As you can imagine it is a complex product to make" - complex equals MONEY.
They are discontinuing it because it's popularity was eating into the sales of their other products that they make a lot more money off of and are easier and quicker to make.

It is a business decision. It was not supposed to become as popular as it did, probably instead of selling for $2.99 it would need to be $4.00 in order to make up for profits lost on lower sales on higher profit items.

But it wasn't supposed to become that popular.
When a lower profit item starts outselling the higher profit item - you are forced to kill the low profit item.

But many latinx type folks don't like ice cream that much, so they want to concentrate their efforts on manufacturing new kinds of tequila and chile con carne?
