Sarah Palin Not First Choice for 90+% of Educated Republicans

Why would anyone want their children engaged in public prayer at school?

Right wing children are so smart, they have plenty of time left over. They use that time to "pray" and "chant".

and no liberals believe in god....

good lord you are retarded

Yea, all those "liberals" marching to put "Gawd" back in public schools and teaching the "controversy". And you call me "retarded". This is why we need "real" schools and not what the right wingers imagine what schools should be..

There is no 1st Amendment right to public prayer in the public classroom. There is every 1st Amendment right to pray privately without disturbing the educational process. The students in our town pray regularly at the flagpole at the high school. No issue exists.
and no one is asking for that, moron
learn to read for comprehension and then get back to it

Have you noticed how "circular' you're arguments are? Everyone is a "moron" to you and yet, you are the only one who seems truly "stupid".

So she loses what? Like a hundred votes? Big deal.

USArmyRetired totally represents the Republican Party.

Anti gay
anti poor
anti Muslim
anti Hispanic
anti liberal
anti feminist
anti atheist
anti education
anti middle class
anti science

It's like you have "Uncle Sam" and "Anti Republican".

Except, no one told USArmyRetired that he is one of the poor. Oops. Republicans want his vote so they can royally screw his ass.

I was reading about all those jobs Obama saved in the car industry. Many said they really appreciate Obama for saving their jobs and keeping them in their homes, but they couldn't vote for him because they think he's a "Muslim". Seems they heard it on Fox News.

I really think that a lot of those things apply to the Republican leadership in Washington. But I don't think Republican citizens are that uncaring, for the most part. Do you know any Republicans?? Surely we all have family and friends that are a mix of libs and conservatives, Republicans, Dems, and others.

But the above does apply to see John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Sarah Palin, and some of the other leadership. So many others that it's too long to list them all. I really do not like the Republican leadership. They have very flawed characters.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. The leadership of both parties reflects the base. Sure, for every Charlie Wrangle, there is a Tom Delay who faces sentencing. Or a John Boehner who was video taped passing out bribes on the house floor (passing out bribes on the house floor may be unethical and despicable, but it's not illegal).

The Republican leadership is mostly white Christian men with a very occasional woman, or rarer still, a black or Hispanic.

Then you look at the Democratic leadership:
Gay
Straight
Christian
Muslim
Feminist
Black
White
Hispanic
men
women

Has the Republican Party ever had an openly gay representative? Just kidding. I know. It's a dumb question.

So you disagree with what I've said because you're saying that the leadership reflects the base?? Well, it mostly does on this site. But as I said, I don't see it as much with the people in my life. They have definite opinions that are very different from mine. But I don't see the total lack of empathy for the other guy that is constantly on display in Washington.

Also, we can have a heated discussion and then go out to dinner!!! No cussing or name calling. But perhaps people that do that here are more polite when face to face with people that disagree with their politics. It's easy to be a jerk when you are faceless.

WOW
i can actually agree with that
and i dont mean the last line, that is an opinion you are entitled to

Watch divecon get confused.

Dem chillun chant: the Stimulus really works, the Stimulus really works

Republicans ruined the economy and by Gawd, they don't want Democrats to do a thing to fix it.

"These two entities—Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac—are not facing any kind of financial crisis,"-- Democrats up to and well after the collapse and they continue to pump billions into F&F

No, no no no.

Nice try. That's what INNOVATERS have given us.

Not the same thing as elites.

For example the Founding Fathers were going AGAINST the "educated elite" of their day in Founding this country.

The ELITE of their day was invested in the monarchy.

My family knew Henry Ford. Henry Ford was a neighbor of my Dad when he was a kid and even bought my dad an ice cream cone once.

Henry Ford was not an elitist, but a self made man.

He was born on a farm, and started in business as apprentist machinest.

Computers?

Jobs and Gates started their business in a garage.

I could go on and on.

Wonderful innovaters. Inventing cars, medicine, computers. Etc etc etc.

Doesn't mean they always know who should run the country.

Sorry, your examples are a big fail.

You were the one who was disparaging intellectuals in this thread. I hate to break it to you, but most innovation isn't created by "average" guys working in their basements. The creators of technology and innovation are usually highly educated people, often coming from well-to-do and educated families. Much of America's innovation come from these intellectuals, who spend their days and nights in university labs, trying to find the Next Big Thing.

Yeah, like the New York Times and who THEY THINK should be our candidate?

Yeah, let's have the NYT pick our candidate again like they did John McCain.

Oh you schmart guys, you run with that.

Remember the NYTimes thought Reagan was a dunce!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Good thing that you have a true proven conservative like Donald Trump running....

Generally, the more education a Republican has, the less likely they are to support Ms. Palin to lead the Republican Party.

Three recent surveys of Republican primary voters suggest significant divides in support for Ms. Palin based on the educational attainment of the voter. A poll released this morning by Marist College show Ms. Palin as the first choice of 17 percent of Republicans who have not graduated from college, giving her a slight lead among that group. But her support is just 7 percent among Republican college graduates, which placed her fifth behind Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingirch and Chris Christie.

A Quinnipiac poll, likewise, finds Ms. Palin with the support of 22 percent of Republicans who have not graduated from college, but of 10 percent of those who have. A CNN poll, meanwhile — using a slightly different criterion that focuses on whether voters attended college, whether or not they graduated from it — finds Ms. Palin drawing 20 percent of Republican voters who haven’t attended college, but only 9 percent of those who have.

If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on Romney winning the nomination in 2012. Christie would be a fascinating choice as well.

Notice how the far left do9rne uses a far left drone blog site for their "facts"..

Fortunately for Palin, that's only about "6%" of the party.
Even more true today.

what did tell you all. this has to be the 15th thread on her (she isn't running for any office and just endorsed someone) since what, yesterday, day before. they can't hate on someone enough. it is the sickest thing to watch. the war on women is true and it's from the left/lib/dems/progressive/commie party

15th post
I thought this was a pretty good piece on why it shouldn't be a surprise Palin threw her support behind Trump. She's is more similar to Trump than many realize, the author contends.

See how the far left uses far left blog sites for their "facts"..

Just goes to show how the far left religion works..

A NYT far left opinion piece is being used to back up this far left drones position..
