Sarah Palin Not First Choice for 90+% of Educated Republicans

Well, all I heard is how smart Obama was. Sorry, I don't see it. Palin makes more sense in 10 minutes than Obama has made in years.

I guess this makes me a racist.....

I'm sure you think that.

Why is it so surprising that most intellectual Republicans don't want her to be president?

I'm confident that most intellectual Democrats don't want Cynthia McKinney for president...

So she loses what? Like a hundred votes? Big deal.

USArmyRetired totally represents the Republican Party.

Anti gay
anti poor
anti Muslim
anti Hispanic
anti liberal
anti feminist
anti atheist
anti education
anti middle class
anti science

It's like you have "Uncle Sam" and "Anti Republican".

Except, no one told USArmyRetired that he is one of the poor. Oops. Republicans want his vote so they can royally screw his ass.

I was reading about all those jobs Obama saved in the car industry. Many said they really appreciate Obama for saving their jobs and keeping them in their homes, but they couldn't vote for him because they think he's a "Muslim". Seems they heard it on Fox News.

I really think that a lot of those things apply to the Republican leadership in Washington. But I don't think Republican citizens are that uncaring, for the most part. Do you know any Republicans?? Surely we all have family and friends that are a mix of libs and conservatives, Republicans, Dems, and others.

But the above does apply to John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Sarah Palin, and some of the other leadership. So many others that it's too long to list them all. I really do not like the Republican leadership. They have very flawed characters.

You know, sometimes I get bored and then I read what you guys write and it's so hilarious, it wakes me right up.

For one thing, I love looking up what Republicans REALLY think about education. Hey, imagine this, "Take away all the Bachelor's in Bible studies from those Southern Christian universities and how many college degrees are left? Get it? LEFT? Like most of them.

This is why only 6% of scientists are Republican. Because most right winger degrees are in "Bible memorization". That's what I call "Bible study". Come on, it's only one book. It was written thousands of years ago. How hard could it be? Look at all the people that already passed.

Ted Haggard had a "Bachelor's in Bible Study". But he spent too much time on his knees. That got him in trouble. I watched a recent special on HBO. Seems, even with such a degree, he's not qualified for anything.

This site is a hoot. I love Republican views on Education. They are always teaching me things I never would have guessed.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. The leadership of both parties reflects the base. Sure, for every Charlie Wrangle, there is a Tom Delay who faces sentencing. Or a John Boehner who was video taped passing out bribes on the house floor (passing out bribes on the house floor may be unethical and despicable, but it's not illegal).

The Republican leadership is mostly white Christian men with a very occasional woman, or rarer still, a black or Hispanic.

Then you look at the Democratic leadership:
Gay
Straight
Christian
Muslim
Feminist
Black
White
Hispanic
men
women

Has the Republican Party ever had an openly gay representative? Just kidding. I know. It's a dumb question.

FACTS:

Republican Party on Education
Party Platform

Promote school choice and home-schooling

Support voluntary student-initiated prayer in school
We will continue to work for the return of voluntary school prayer to our schools and will strongly enforce the Republican legislation that guarantees equal access to school facilities by student religious groups. We strongly support voluntary student-initiated prayer in school without governmental interference. We strongly disagree with the Supreme CourtÂ’s rulings against student-initiated prayer.

Limit role of federal government in education

Strongly support voluntary student-initiated prayer

(Dear Gawd, please give me better grades so I can have a good job. I know that the job has nothing to do with what is learned in school. It's all about "who you know". So please give me good grades in something so I can get a degree in "something". Something where I can earn a hundred thousand a year, but I don't actually have to work very hard or think. And Gawd, I promise I will always vote Republican as long as I don't have to write in anything.)

Palin will beat whatever candidate Soros runs against her in 2012

Right wing children are so smart, they have plenty of time left over. They use that time to "pray" and "chant".

good lord you are retarded

There is no 1st Amendment right to public prayer in the public classroom. There is every 1st Amendment right to pray privately without disturbing the educational process. The students in our town pray regularly at the flagpole at the high school. No issue exists.

Yea, because right wing parents living in trailers can do such a better job teaching physics, math, biology, physiology, botany, and the "classics" better than any old "teacher".

Besides, they have the "Bible". That will really prepare children for modern life.
