She was SIX! It was her parents decision. She had no say in the decision. She was SIX! You cannot compare Sarah Palin going to Canada for treatment when SHE WAS SIX to Barrack Obama freely associating with the unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers when he was an ADULT! The only way Obama didn't know about Ayers past would be if he did no checking on a man who wanted to host a party for him, if this is the case, then Obama isn't as smart as he claims. That said, she was six. This is a non issue.

Perhaps, but at the time Palin's family was in Skagway and traveled all the way to Whitehorse, which had a smaller population and no doubt fewer medical facilities. It does beg the question of why...since her parents were state employees and no doubt covered by health insurance. Even if better facilities was the argument Juneau was easier to get to with far better facilities.

It does make one wonder how such stance conservatives would go out of their way to forgo the superior freemarket in favor socialized healthcare? I wonder if Sarah still has her Canadian Health Care card?
