exactly. society is setup on boundaries. cross them, you pay a penalty of some sort, depending on the activity / laws at hand.

Our justice system has been politicized by the Left purely for political purposes. Riots, looting, destruction of private and public property are all ignored if the democratic party profits by doing so. For them, it isn't a question of morality or duty, it's a calculation of political cost vs benefit: we are for defunding the police when we benefit and against it when we don't. Expediency is upper most in importance, and what is best for the country and it's citizens falls to a distant 3rd place behind self and party.
