May 17, 1963, Bruno Sammartino started the greatest title reign in Sports Entertainment history.

Although the Abruzzo native started out as a favorite of the Italian people- who have always loved the King of Sports , pro wrestling- soon fans of all national origins loved him. My grandmother was born far from the Land of Pizza but still supported Bruno 100%.
