If we treat people like interchangeable bits, and use the excuse that “they do it for less money”, then what you are saying is you really just want slave labor. If all you care about are profits and stock prices, and you don’t care about the citizens of the country, then you aren’t a leader.

If you can bully people and keep them as slaves, why not? You must resent the fact you pay the lower forms of life any wages at at.

You sound suspiciously like someone who is not pro Meritocracy .
Possibly frightened to admit that people are not born equal , never have been, and never will be .

Naturally those at the top of the pile -- our famous pyramid -- must treat those below with consideration , care and respect .
And introduce real possibilities for individuals to ascend, as well as for poorly performing individuals to be demoted .

In summary ,a system which is as Good and Fair as can reasonably be devised for all .

No free rides for big mouths who are sour and bitter and think they know better than the best experts and specialists .

All seems very moderate and sound .

What virtues and abilities do Sheeple have that warrant better treatment than being looked after reasonably ?

If by Slaves you mean those at the bottom of the pile , how do you have a top without a bottom?

For starters, these are human beings, not “sheeple”. People who are happy and well, treated and valued, are more, productive, loyal, and contribute more to your bottom line.

People who are treated poorly, or whose contributions are not respected, are less productive and more likely to leave costing you money to replace them.

Even if your only interest is to make more money, well treated, well paid, happier employees will make you more money than miserable ill treated employees.

We'll have to see how the meritocracy thing plays.

It's a can of worms, politically. And it's certainly been abused in the past.

However it's clear we can not keep funding failure.

I'm hoping the pocketbook approach will work and the rest will sort itself out around that.

It is a simple fact that the vast majority of humans are Stupid , having an IQ under120 . About 90% actually .
And the same applies for Gullibility .

WHY did you not read and acknowledge that?

And if for some strange reason you think that all people are equal in the eyes of God , then let him get on with "his" job .
That will indeed be a bonus , for so far this mysterious God has been conspicuous through total absence .

So let me confirm for you that the vast majority of humans are Sheeple for the stated reasons, and whilst you might not like the term that is just equivalent to telling me that you love meat but as long as it is not beef, Pork or Ham .

Our species has some People but is mostly Sheeple .
