While I was away I brought this to a wedding BBQ reception...caprese salad..tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil and balsamic reduction. Take cheaper balsamic vinegar and boil to reduce by about half or a little more. Drizzle the oil first.

One thing I had at a reception this summer was basil lemonade. It was essentially just a glass jug of home-made lemonade with ice cubes and the tops of a basil plant submerged within. Simple and delicious.
