Rx for the Democrats

You don't have the professional education or training to diagnose mental health or it's prescription.
One doesn’t need “professional training” to know that butchering the body doesn’t fix the mind. Your average 6 year old could tell you that. And you agreed when you acknowledged a cast on the arm wouldn’t solve schizophrenia. Oops.

But since you apparently lack the intellect and deductive reasoning of the average 6 year old, here you go: “professional trained” medical doctors agreeing with all of us who have common sense:

American College of Pediatrics

The idiocy is in your attempts to present a strawman as a rational argument.
Except that it’s not a “strawman”. You’re claim that it’s a “strawman” is the actual “strawman” here.

Surgery on a perfectly health, normal functioning body doesn’t cure mental illness. You know it. I know it. The rest of the board knows it.

I can only assume at this point that you’re an immature troll just desperate for attention/interaction since you know you’re wrong and since you’re incapable of defending your bat-shit crazy position.

This thread is stupid. The election was clearly an anomaly. The Democratic Party should stick to its guns.

1) Claim voters are stupid, racist and sexist
2) Say Trump is Hitler
3) Call voters garbage
4) Continue the DEI / Wokism mantra
5) Continue the defund the police rhetoric
6) Cancel student debt
7) Allow for thievery if under $1k
8) Open borders

Winning formula

Rationality requires you find real world examples of the point you want to make, not make believe ones.
First of all, rationality doesn’t require “real world examples”. For instance, a rational person knows that if you attempt to walk on Jupiter without a space suite and without oxygen, you will die. Now, there are exactly 0 “real world examples” of that, but reason and logic don’t require “real world examples”. Only desperate trolls backed into a corner by them, create made up rules dictating as much.

Second, we know from “real world examples” that performing surgery on a perfectly healthy, properly functioning body doesn’t solve mental illness. Mental illnesses require mental healthcare treatment. Not physical medical treatment.

So now that I’ve dog-walked you up and down this board with facts, logic, and reason, are you ready to grow up? Or are you going to continue with the immature trolling of the desperate “but…but…but…you didn’t go to medical school” for the 400th time because you can’t think of anything else since I backed you into a corner?

One does need a professional education to speak rationally and with some authority on what constitutes butchering and what constitutes medicine. :itsok:

I'm not surprised a handful of doctors in a hate group is what you lean on for support.

American College of Pediatricians - Wikipedia

ACPeds has been listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center for pushing "anti-LGBTQ junk science". A number of mainstream researchers, including the director of the US National Institutes of Health, have accused ACPeds of misusing or mischaracterizing their work to advance their own political agenda. ACPeds has also been criticized for their professional sounding name which some have said is intended to mislead people into thinking they are a professional medical organization or mistake them for the similar sounding American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

You know it isn’t a rational argument. You have to support your argument with more than just assertions and claims.

Assumptions and personal attacks? Is this what you mistake for rationality?

There are real world examples of what happens to the body in an environment lacking oxygen, Moron. We can explain what happens to the body in that instance with science. You can't explain shit. Your scientific explanation was, You know it.
Second, we know from “real world examples” that performing surgery on a perfectly healthy, properly functioning body doesn’t solve mental illness. Mental illnesses require mental healthcare treatment. Not physical medical treatment.
It's not your place to say whether someone else's body is properly functioning. The fact that there is incongruity between brain and body calls that claim into question.

I'm happy that you think those were logical arguments. Display your ignorance as frequently and as vocally as you want. :dunno:

It's not your place to say whether someone else's body is properly functioning.
We know how a properly function body operates, dumb ass. We know proper blood pressures, properly blood oxygen, proper blood sugars, proper range of motion, and on and on and on.

All thoroughly documented and backed up by science.

So cutting off the penis and testicles of a mentally ill person when those parts are all function properly, when there are no lumps, cancers, or diseases, is disgusting and unethical as hell.
The fact that there is incongruity between brain and body calls that claim into question.
“Incongruity” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just you way of saying “mental illness” without having to say “mental illness”

Game. Set. Match.

First of all, you uneducated Chinese disinformation account, moron is not a proper noun. Therefore it is not capitalized. Xi is going to have you executed if you keep making these kinds of mistakes.

Second of all, there are ZERO “real world examples” of ANYONE visiting Jupiter, so you don’t have a damn clue whether oxygen is present or not. Additionally, I said a “space suit” as well. You’d still die even with oxygen. Again, ZERO “real world examples” of anyone ever walking on Jupiter. But logic and reason do not require “real world examples”. Logic and reason require only logic and reason.

You made up a requirement because you got dog-walked up and down this board with basic facts. Your disinformation campaign is failing miserably.

Assumptions and personal attacks? Is this what you mistake for rationality?
So after half a dozen posts of personal attacks, you’re going to act offended when I finally respond in kind? Really? 🙄

Don’t start a war you can’t fight…

It's not your place to say whether someone else's body is properly functioning.
Oh…and not for nothing…but it absolutely is my place. In the U.S., We the People dictate our laws. And if we want to say “no surgery on perfectly healthy bodies suffering only from a mental illness”, we have every fuck’n right. I know you people from communist China can’t grasp that concept, but tough. Deal with it.

Nope. Our reps do, and they are limited by our Constitutionally protected rights.
And if we want to say “no surgery on perfectly healthy bodies suffering only from a mental illness”, we have every fuck’n right.
No. You don't. If someone wants to hack on themselves, or hire someone else to do it, it's none of your business. This is exactly the kind of thing that shows Republicans have abandoned "limited government".

I know you people from communist China can’t grasp that concept, but tough. Deal with it.
Communist China is on your side on this one.

We the People elect our reps, genius. And we have meetings with them to tell them the laws we want enacted of the laws we want removed.

Damn shame you skipped civics back in high school

Protecting the vulnerable (such as the mentally ill), is the fundamental function of government.

You should have stayed in school and taken civics. Game. Set. Match.

Really illustrates the extremism of you leftists, doesn’t it?? Even communist China won’t butcher their mentally ill citizens, but the Democrat Party will!!
