After the damning climategate University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit's (UAE/CRU) emails were leaked to the public in 2009 by wikileaks, among several other transparency organizations, the first thing they did was cry foul.

Mind you, the CRU did not challenge the veracity of the actual content of the damning emails, they merely bitched and whined about the emails being "stolen" by the Russians.

The truth was somehow unfair?

Russia, Russia, Russia! they screamed ad nauseum from the rooftops at the top of their lungs to distract attention away from the content of the leaked information in the emails and point an accusatory finger towards the Russians.

Don't look here, look there!
