Russia doesn't dare attack the US. Why? Because Russia is struggling in the Ukraine, it's literally throwing EVERYTHING it's got at the Ukraine. If someone else were to invade Russia, Russia would capitulate very quickly. Just look at how long it's taken Russia to respond to the Ukraine opening a new front, months before a response, because Russia doesn't have anything else.

They are easier, of course, but not that educative.
My bets about next targets are on:

1) tiny nuclear strike on Beskid tunnel - as a part of "controlled escalation" and "life-saving military efforts";
2) and a limited attack by conventional cruise missiles from a "Yemen's ship" against one if US bases in Alaska as a part of "reflective escalation".
