All 'democracies' worldwide have been failed until now and end as tyrannies of insane perverse satanic lunatics minorities who torture and punish majorities and impose schizophrenic laws. From old Greek and Rome until Covid-1984 scamdemic.
Enemies of Russian people have transformed the former Russian Orthodox Church after 1927 in quasi KGB Church where believers are told to be slaves of the criminal state.
There is the third way for Russia, not Democracy, not Dictatorship, but the Christian Monarchy founded on the Holy Bible. Not a Big Church needed which can lightly subverted from within or bribed, but many independent small Christian churches without central authority who are free to teach according the Holy Bible.
Putin is enemy of Russian people, he transformed the country in a satanist prison and robbed it.
The Holy Bible shall be Russian Constitution and Jesus Christ its Head!

"Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to say that democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious, or less avaricious than aristocracy or monarchy. It is not true, in fact, and nowhere appears in history. Those passions are the same in all men, under all forms of simple government, and when unchecked, produce the same effects of fraud, violence, and cruelty."

JOHN ADAMS

Doubt if they would go for a theocracy but the could dig up an old Romanov.

Why don't you read what the Bible has to say about government.

1 Samuel 8

8 When Samuel grew old, he appointed his sons as Israel’s leaders.[a] 2 The name of his firstborn was Joel and the name of his second was Abijah, and they served at Beersheba. 3 But his sons did not follow his ways. They turned aside after dishonest gain and accepted bribes and perverted justice.

4 So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah. 5 They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead[b] us, such as all the other nations have.”

6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”

10 Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. 12 Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. 16 Your male and female servants and the best of your cattle[c] and donkeys he will take for his own use. 17 He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. 18 When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”

19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.”

21 When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the Lord. 22 The Lord answered, “Listen to them and give them a king.”

Then Samuel said to the Israelites, “Everyone go back to your own town.”

So the answer to our problems is not a king today just like it was not back in the days of Samuel, nor is the answer democracy.

The answer is turning to God.

In fact, there was a theocratic monarchy in Europe with the Pope heading it, we see a whole list of abuses as a result. The persecution of Jews, for example, was rampant as Jews were persecuted to such an extent that it is hard to find anything like it. For centuries they were kicked out entire countries, rounded up and put in ghettos and rounded up and murdered. You might even say that the Holocaust was a natural climax to all the persecution. In fact, everything that was done to the Jews in the Holocaust had already been done to them centuries prior, only, it was on a much grander scale.

You even had Inquisitions and Crusades as men where burned at the stake for suggesting that the universe did not revolve around the sun.

The Founding Fathers broke from the Monarchy in England due to the abuses they felt had been done to them. The fact that the king controlled the pulpit in the Church of England led to abuses that they vowed to never follow by allowing such power from the state. And at the end of the day, all of the bad press the Christian faith obtained came from those dark days of church/state control. But such evil does not just come from theocracies, but from any form of government empowering man who is corrupt and fallen. Therefore, the more power government gives man, the more abuse they will inflict upon society. That is why the original Hebrew nation had no human king, rather, just a group of judges to keep the peace.

The conundrum comes, however, when society becomes so immoral and corrupt itself that it begins to destroy itself. As Ben Franklin said,

“I agree to this Constitution with all its faults, if they are such: because I think a General Government necessary for us, and there is no Form of Government but what may be a Blessing to the People if well-administred; and I believe farther that this is likely to be well administred for a Course of Years and can only end in Despotism as other Forms have done before it, when the People shall become so corrupted as to need Despotic Government, being incapable of any other.”

Ben makes a valid point, however, and that is when the public's morality deteriorates to that of a prison, all one can do at that point is build walls around it and hire a warden. This is why despotic governments last longer. So the suggestion that you centralize power, like we see Leftists trying to do every day, has merit in making governments last longer, but who wants to live in Communist China or North Korea?

How interesting.. Horses were extremely rare in Palestine... almost non-existent. They rode donkeys and used them to carry burdens ...

And we fare no better under 'laissez faire', where 'big government' originates, via monopolies, oligarchies, price gouging market manipulations, outright theft, extreme abuses of workers, cheating on wage, etc., so this doesn't really cover the whole reality. The bible aslo says a workman is worthy if his hire, not paying them the very least they can get away with or whatever they feel like paying them.

Governments do reflect and represent the values of the people they rule over, every one of them;Biden and democrats an their fellow GOP apparatniks are everything 'the people' ask for and get. Let it collapse, and laugh at the results, because it is well deserved.

Put a moral people in a bad governmental/economic system, and they will fix it.

But an amoral people in a perfect governmental/economic system and they will screw it up.

The key is how to promote morality.

From a Christian perspective, you do it one heart at a time, from the bottom up. You change people so they want to do what is right. Conversely, from a Left wing perspective, you do it top down as you pass laws and regulations and manipulate people with PC to not think and say bad things. That way they will fear doing what they really want to do or say and maybe not do it once they feel forced into it.

The problem with the later approach is it takes peoples freedom away, and there is no controlling those in government who are amoral themselves. Those at the top will eventually wreck the system.

There is also an additional problem. Power corrupts, so suppose you put a "good" man in control, the more power over others he has the more it changes him, and not for the better

We see this in the example of king David. God chose the most upright man for the job of king, but he later took another man's wife and had her husband murdered because after all those years of being king, it changed him.
