I see that you have not reviewed the current events column in the market in which goods from these countries have been stopped on account of Covid-19.

I suggest you put away the Chinese made Apple phone and recognize that these capitalist all do their product manufacturing in socialist or communist nations because of labor cost...Your Nintendo from Japan is made in China also.

Boeing is a very good example.

In the 90s Boeing was giving China a ton of technology and research on aerospace.

I know my ex helped them with GPS. It was part of the contracts they signed with China to do business with them.

Their rational was if they didn't give them the technology and information they wouldn't be making that money. They also needed to give it to them to be able to build airports, navigation systems and GPS.

I pointed out to my ex that by doing that they will cut off or stop future revenues from China because they won't need it anymore because Boeing gave it to them.

As far as I know Boeing is still doing it. Along with a lot of other companies here in America.

However right now, our problem is this virus and russia. I don't understand why they don't do it the right way. Why not just announce a joint project to work with the US, Canada and Britain to find a vaccine together?

It seems to me that working together would be the best way to do it.

Putin sees it as a weakness much like the USSR operated, Pootin clearly sees the USSR writing on the wall and wants to return to it.

putin is just another lazy conservative.

They don't want to do the work. Plain and simple.

They are constantly looking for the short cut and quick fix. They aren't willing to put in the time and effort to solve the problem.

Just look at the conservatives here and trump. They aren't willing to do the work to fight this virus. So we get " magic cures" from trump which only kill people. We get honest scientific facts ignored so the virus rages on.

They are just trying to run out the clock to get a vaccine. They aren't willing to work to fight the virus now to preserve as many lives and as much of our economy and nation as possible.

So we will be in ruins by the time a vaccine is developed if the conservatives continue to control this nation.

They will only stop when another nation has cheaper labor costs..No matter what political ideology runs the nation.

There is another way to stop it.

The flood of American companies and jobs leaving America started in the 80s. At the time, they went to Japan.

Before that, companies and jobs stayed in America.

Why? What was different starting in the 80s?

Taxes.

reagan lowered taxes. Before reagan taxes were very high on high wages and salaries. Taxes were high on high profits in business and on unearned income.

When greedy people know they will see most of the money go to taxes if they generate above a certain amount, they don't generate revenues above that certain amount.

Thus companies don't go looking in the rest of the world for the cheapest labor with the least regulations.

The companies can keep the price of their goods and services lower. They can pay their employees a living wage with proper benefits. The list of the benefits of stopping the few at the top from taking all the wealth is just way too long to list.

When lazy stockholders know they will see their unearned income taxed at a high rate, they keep their unearned income at a lower rate thus the company isn't constantly looking for cheap labor and ways to constantly increase stock value.

We can raise taxes on revenues, not profits. We can impose laws that wage heavy fines and taxes on companies that move out of America. We just don't have the politicians who are willing to put America first to enact those laws.

Stupid people don't realize that very few will actually pay those high rates. What those high rates do is control greed. Greedy people won't take high rates of money if they know that most of it will go to the government in taxes.

When you use taxes and regulations to keep greed in check as we used to do until reagan, everyone benefits.

In the interest of personal integrity you should not call other people "stupid". Not with crap you post.
