Russia is rebuilding the old Soviet Union.

So those of us opposing Putin and his imperialist dreams are on the right side of history.

The more Russians who die. The better.

What "crime"? It isn't a crime to try and save the Union- that's what Lincoln did here in America and that's what Uncle Pooties is doing in the USSR.

And BTW, it isn't a crime for Moldova and Ukraine to try and assert themselves in the War of Russian Aggression either.
A swing and a miss.

Of course they are! Look who's in the White House helping them. She's even got her "Make the USSR Great Again" hat on!

In my opinion, Putin's next objective will be to have the Russian army take the major port city of Odessa and then link up with the long narrow strip of land between Ukraine and Moldova called Transnistria.
Which is a pro-Russian independent state with a large ethnic Russian population that has long desired to be a part of Russia.
Putin then would have complete control of the norther coast of the Black Sea and effectively block all Ukrainian resupply ships.
Will the country of Moldova then be invaded and annexed by Russia remains an open question?

I believe that his taking over Easter Ukraine was his objective from the start but all the rest of the country wouldn't make sense because he wouldn't have a buffer zone with Europe anymore thus weaken his security.

We can't have the notion that Putin is trying to rebuild the Soviet Union, at the same time as the suggestion that Putin has made a mistake and over-extended Russia's capabilities.

Americans can choose either, but hardly both together.
