They did? Sure didn't look like they stopped them to me. They even opened the gates for them.

Trump never sent anybody anywhere. He was nearing the end of his speech when the break in started. He told the people at his rally they would march peacefully and patriotically to the Capital together.

Since this clown show is nothing but another Trump witch hunt, we need to know a lot of things. Why did the Capital police captain refuses Trump's offer of sending the national guard there for the entire day given the information the FBI passed to the Chief about the potential of an invasion. We need to know who gave him those orders to refuse the help. We need to know why thousands of hours of video are not released to Congress yet alone the American public. We need to know why there was no investigation of the cop who shot an unarmed female vet. We need to know why it took so long for the National Guard to respond even though they were already in their vehicles waiting to go upon orders.

We need to know a lot of things this witch hunt won't provide because this clown show is nothing more than to try to stop Trump from running and beating the hell out of them in 2024.

Yeah, thumbing one's nose at a legally convened and authorized court or a Congressional Committee has always been an effective strategy...if and when your goal is to place yourself in legal jeopardy, that is.

There is no legal jeopardy in exercising one's Fifth Amendment rights.

At least not here in America.

Why would anyone stop pleading the 5th? Further, the people aren't stupid, they can see that the committee is full of partisan hacks and the opposition has no say it in..

Lastly, people are more concerned about Biden's Inflation, his war with Russia, his crime wave in the liberal cities, etc., that they are about a mostly peaceful demonstration more than a year ago.
