How about we make those who foolishly sent them in the first place to be harmed provide the bulk of the benefits?

Put a huge lien on the Bush ranch?

But not the congress critters who voted to authorize the invasion of Iraq?

There is a superfund created to deal with cancer victims exposed to the herbicide known by marketing names such as "Roundup" and "Paraquat" and you see ads every day from ambulance chasing law firms angling for a cut of the bounty. The proof that some herbicides are toxic cancer causing agents is well established but the government fought law suits for years that alleged that herbicides used in "Agent Orange" were the cause of cancer deaths in Vietnam Vets.

Good news, this passed the Senate

The U.S. Senate made history June 16, ensuring millions of veterans exposed to noxious fumes emanating from burn pits will have access to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) care and benefits. The bill was approved by an 84-14 vote.

The Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act (PACT Act) addresses the full spectrum of issues affecting toxic-exposed veterans’ access to VA benefits and care, while also reforming VA’s presumptive decision-making process.
