On the surface this seems to be an incredibly cynical act of opportunism. The guys represent one of the most vulnerable states in America. Ground zero for climate disasters.

How do they get away with such antics ?

Do you mean they voted against federal aid to Ukraine to the tune of 17 billions *WHICH WOULD REALLY BE A HELP TO FLORIDA?? This was voted on the very evening that Hurricane IAN was slamming into the Florida coast. The Biden Regency and democrats will do anything to line their own pockets at the expense of Americans.
