In England I suppose the real whiny leftists call themselves "republicans". The lefts self hatred shows up in any culture.
If rejecting the Royal family makes me a leftist then the whole of the US is a leftist entity.
You've got cause and effect confused yet again. Being leftist makes you reject the royal family. Not vice versa. You display all the repulsive signs and symptoms of the leftist...the primary one always being a burning hatred for your own culture.
It is always promulgated by rich elites to the lower forms of leftists who then feel really advanced and counter culturish for aping said elites
Oikophobia - Wikipedia
One of your countrymen wrote....
"National history is taught (if it is taught at all) as a tale of shame and degradation. The art, literature and music of our nation have been more or less excised from the curriculum, and folkways, local traditions and national ceremonies are routinely rubbished...Those disinherited savages owe their condition to the fact that their mentors and guardians have repudiated the national idea. This repudiation is the result of a peculiar frame of mind that has arisen throughout the Western world since the second world war, and which is particularly prevalent among the intellectual and political élites. No adequate word exists for this attitude, though its symptoms are instantly recognised: namely, the disposition, in any conflict, to side with ‘them’ against ‘us’, and the felt need to denigrate the customs, culture and institutions that are identifiably ‘ours’."
So,for example,if you were to be honest (not likely) you would have to admit you prefer Brussels to London as rulers and oppose going it alone...unless it is Scotland leaving the UK of course which makes you wet. Either one is a repudiation of the UK, as is finding offense in the monarchy, and so appeals to you.
Same with American liberals.
Why The Liberal Elite Find America Revolting
And it also explains ..."the
paradox of the oikophobe seems to be that any opposition directed at the theological and cultural
tradition of the West is to be encouraged even if it is "significantly more
parochial,
exclusivist,
patriarchal, and
ethnocentric." Roger Scrutton
Think of that next time you see feminists agitating to import wife-beating homosexual-burning slobs from the mid east.
