Pardoning a convicted-for-2-life-terms criminial that had a "without the possibility of parole" for DRUG TRAFFICKING sentence, is supporting Law and Order?

This was a man that was convicted in 2015 (before Trump was even in the political arena) and that was not part of anything that Trump did that was supported by a supporter. This was ALL about currying favor with the Bitcoin community (which he is part of as he is selling a form of Bitcoin).

Ulbricht was arrested in 2013 and sentenced to life in prison in 2015, after he was convicted of seven charges, including distributing narcotics, distributing narcotics by means of the internet, conspiring to distribute narcotics, engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise, conspiring to commit computer hacking, conspiring to traffic in false identity documents and conspiring to commit money laundering.

Having said that, why would Trump (at the beginning of his 2nd term) even get involved in pardoning a drug dealer? There must have been some BENEFIT to him, because the negatives of what he did are BIG. No Americans support drug dealing as a good thing. Do You?
