Tonight is the last time Ron Paul actually had a chance to win anything. It's all down hill from here for that wack job...Thank G-d.
Ya know, I don't know how old any of you are, but I've been following Ron Paul since the FIRST time he ran for president as a libertarian back in 1988. In the end, I went republican...just as I had since the first republican I voted for, Nixon. But the man made a lot of sense back then and it sounded a LOT like he does now.
Ron has spent his ENTIRE political life fighting for limited government and states rights. He sucked at it...mainly cause he's a doctor, not a politician. But it didn't stop him from trying.
He DID learn early on that if you say outrageous things and there's nothing else going on in the news...people will listen. And that is what he's done. He's spent his career looking like a famous Spaniard who spent his life tilting at windmills. But most of it was on purpose and it just kind of became a habit that he broke too late once he became a SERIOUS candidate.
The thing is RON WAS RIGHT...about all but a couple things. His only sin has been that he was right at the wrong time, or should I say we are now getting right at the wrong time for Ron.
Now he may have developed a political tick from all those years of fighting for us when we were too DUMB to know he was doing it and that led him to knee jerk on stuff like the Fed that makes him seem a little wacky, but to label a REAL American with a long career of standing on principle and TREMENDOUS service to his constituents a whack job just don't seem right to me.
Ohh well perhaps it would have turned out better for Paul if his son had not shown up?
Uh...Rand Paul is a TRUE constitutional conservative who does NOT share his father's views on the things that turn off republicans about Ron...LIKE national defense...and Rand Paul will be shaping the course of this country for YEARS after the RINOs and progressives have been run out of Washington by "We the People!"
You BETTER get use to seeing him!
