There have been some missteps but Romney's actions in this election cycle have been pretty great and certainly underappreciated
Giving the libertarian ticket name recognition, not giving any of the GOP nominees his endorsement (it's the traditional thing for the previous nominee to do, but none of them deserved it), what he said concerning the BLM movement and officer shootings, willingness to work with the forces seeking a 3rd party candidate, etc. He has been a good voice this election cycle. Not every tweet or every comment has been brilliant (I appreciate his anti-Trump speech at UofU but not sure it had the results that were desired, leaving Romney, admittedly, not looking like his voice is as strong as he may have thought)
