These days, the world is suffering from disputes.
In the 1950's, South Korea also underwant a very difficult time because of the Korean War.
During that time, international society helped South Korea with unstinted support and that formed the basis for economic development of the ROK.
If they didn't help ROK, the Korea of today would be nonexistent.
As a result of development, ROK send PKO troops to many countries to aid people who suffering from poverty and war.
Also, many Korean private organizations and aid agencies are continuously participaing in relief activities.
Especially, ROK military has provided many countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, East Timor etc. with medical services and volunteer work for civilians.
I wish that this year all nations will cooperate together and terror and war will disappear.
