There were and are to many other pressing issues facing this nation. That is why I believe it wasn't as influential as they had hoped.

Besides, the only thing about the ending of Roe is that it was given to the States to decide on how abortion should be handled by their own people. I may not agree with what some states have done, but the fact that it IS NOW a States rights issue is fine with Me.

Why can't we just meet in the middle on the damn subject?
First, women, and the left, stop acting like Abortion is healthcare and equating it to getting a prescribed an antibiotic for an infection you didn't have choice in.
Can we stop acting like we don't know how babies are made for fucks sake?
Can we make condoms and other forms of birth control, much more accessible (and honestly I don't know how to make them more accessible than they already are).
Can we have better sex education that includes and focuses on reproductive responsibility and the consequences?
Can we all agree (even for your crazy Christian zealots) that there are times, when all other options are discussed and exhausted, that the choice for abortion is not for me or for you to decide for another individual(s) - and yes plural, men get out of this scott free IMO.
Can we all agree that for Rape (incest included as I equate them to be the same) that plan B or an abortion can be a choice?
Can we all agree that the life of the mother be a viable choice?

But can we as humans, who are not driven by animal instinct (well, to some degree we are but we have the capacity to control it), have a great and reverent (not in a religious way) respect for our ability to choose when we want to reproduce but that the respect and reverence is also given to our ability to reproduce HUMAN life, life that is intelligent, life that has so much potential for good, a life that is to be loved and hopefully loves back. Perhaps if we have greater respect for our ability to have sex, for pleasure and for reproduction, we can be better at making all the choices before unprotected sex.

But as for now, what I see is an absolute humanistic and selfish attitude that sex and chasing the next encounter is more important than the consequences. If we could fix that perception, and have humans respect sex and each other, we could go a long way to settling this conversation.

Trump overturned nothing the justices ruled it should be sent back to the states which it was! No ban would now be constitutional, as they have already ruled.
