Sounds like she's just trying to excuse suicide. "He didn't kill himself, the disease did." Sorry no, he killed himself. No disease takes over control of your body and makes you do things. That like the drunkd river blaming the accident he just caused killing a whole family on being alcoholic.

That's not what it says --- it says Depression didn't kill him... it was the prognosis from the Parkinson's and the Lewy bodies that convinced him it would be pointless to continue.

That's not the same thing as "depression drove him to it".

Have at least enough respect to not put words in her mouth, K?

I watched my Dad deteriorate for ten years from Parkinson's. The endless hallucinations... the overwhelming emotions that took him over that were never there before... the bed restraints... and what I remember most, the pained hurt look in his eyes when we would get up to leave and he couldn't understand why he wasn't coming with us. Serious business.
