Best Halloween candy?

Christmas Holidays begin in November.....so I don't think September is too early.
Technically, Christmas season begins with Thanksgiving thereabouts and ends with Easter: Advent, Christmastide, Epiphanytide, and Lent.

Lovely artwork, Mud! It just pains me to see whoever created it to so badly process it, so with a little effort on my part, I've corrected its many histographical and other processing insufficiencies to fix it to the way it should have looked: here, I hope you like it this way better-----

Thanks.

I just think that we need something fun and happy to see or read every day.
That's why I love Halloween.....because it's the start of all of that positive festivity after the Hot Hot Summer.

Once New Years is over....then the depression sinks in again.

Yeah, but look at it this way: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas comprise October, November and December, a quarter of the year as the days get short, to offset the five long months of summer--- really, from about May 1 to the end of September of long days and good weather (and vacations and such), which is eight months of the year, 2/3rds of the year, leaving only January, February, March and April, and while cold, stark, dead January 1st sucks, we need those months for TCB and as a contrast so that we have those other eight months to look forward to! If it were Halloween or Christmas year round, it would no longer be something special to look forward to and celebrate and would eventually get tiresome and worn out.

Contrast is everything.

Here is a scene I hope no one has posted already that I redid for extra-special spook-tlicious effect.

Hopefully it won't send any small children running for the blankets! 👻

Any kind of chocolate. :D Btw, it's alright if you don't like being this early for Halloween. To each their own. :)

I've grown quite ill of the "fun" sizes. Not only is it wasteful of wrappers and time, it is really meant to cut down on what you give out and spend. I'm much more interested in the classic candies of yesteryear that you don't see in the stores anymore, especially full sized and extra large candy bars. I'd rather pay more and get a candy bar you could chase a cat away with, something that eaten, you know you've had a candy bar---- and don't have a pile of 20 wrappers left over.

Like Ice Cubes, Zero, Chuckles, Necco Wafers, Zagnut, Boston Baked Beans, Assorted Fruit Slices, Candy Necklaces, Cow Tails, Bun logs, and Nut Goodie Bars.

Before they removed the views counter at the top of the page, I usually got 3 times as many views on my Halloween material than Christmas stuff. 31 days just doesn't seem like it's enough.

I've already watched this movie again this year.
I like watching Bette Midler getting blown up.

I also would love giving Sarah Jessica Parker the high hard one.
