In a Republic, actually
‘Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) said during multiple TV appearances Friday that he and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) are pondering impeachment charges against Attorney General Pam Bondi, citing the newly released but heavily redacted Justice Department files on the late accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

“Thomas Massie and I talked about it,” Khanna told “The Source” host Kaitlan Collins. “He’s working, as am I, on drafting articles of impeachment and inherent contempt. We haven’t decided whether to move it forward yet, but we’re in the process of doing it.”

“The problem that the attorney general has, if you just look at the comments to our social media feed, is the amount of MAGA influencers who are upset with her,” he continued. “The issue for her is not, ‘Are there gonna be 212 Democrats who would support it?’”

Khanna and Massie, who both serve on the House Oversight Committee, co-sponsored the Epstein Files Transparency Act and garnered enough bipartisan support to compel the Justice Department to release any remaining files within 30 days. The DOJ appeared to meet the Dec. 19 deadline, only to release a fraction of the documents — many heavily redacted.’

Trump and his corrupt officials should be removed from office via the impeachment process for scores of crimes and misconduct, this being the most recent example.

This won’t happen, of course, because Congressional Republicans are just as corrupt and dishonest.

The problem is that the Founders didn’t foresee the impeachment process being so corrupted and rendered useless by Republican blind partisanism.

LOL. May as well be the ho Crockett.

More liberal toothless whining. I used to have some small respect for Massie, but getting involved in this silliness really damages whatever credibility he had. The only thing this will likely do is end anymore releases as it heads to court to challenge the Constitutionality of the bill in question.

They passed the bill. He signed it.

What are they going to be impeached for?
Because this is a law, and not a congressional subpoena. Any AG that does not comply with the law is open to being indicted by the next AG in office.

. . . likewise, any AG that does not follow the law, will be open to impeachment by a congress that is annoyed by the law breaking.

I respect him but he is a bit of a deflector.

What is the point of the release? If it is to dissect the photos than let's hear some questions about Clinton in a hot tub. Let's hear questions about the flight logs.

Imagine if there was a photo of Trump in the same situation? They'd be yelling that Trump needed to be impeached again.

There are some wealthy and powerful people being covered up for. Also some unfairly painted with a broad brush.

The question that should be asked is, "what is the objective of this release and how are you going to go after these men?"

It seems clear to me that it is political. There was no interest when the Dems were in power. Trump needs to stop being defensive about it and just state that details aren't always as they seem.

Now, is it possible Trump was involved? Anything is possible, but I'd say it is highly doubtful after 25 years of this being litigated.

The democrat dictionary stops at "I". They haven't gotten past impeachment since Piglosi was removed.

This is classic. Democrats using propaganda all over this post. Epstein is no crisis. He is dead. His main female help is in prison. Records previously released have produced nothing Democrats can use. They think Epstein had plenty of records of his own crimes. Does that actually make sense? Epstein had plenty of democrat friends over at his places. Do you see Democrats wanting more records about those Democrats?

I have no idea if the Trump administration is hiding anything but common sense tells me that these records were in the possession of democrats for 4 years and democrats have turned themselves into pretzels trying to get Donald Trump since 2016.

Why would they have not released guilty info or photos of Trump when they encountered this?

Trump is not hiding a thing. He signed into law that these records will be released. And Bondi is doing a fine job.

And Bondi is doing a fine job.
I can't agree with this. Bondi messed this up royally with her comments and that silly binders of nothing stunt.

She seems like she's in over her head to me sometimes.
