Rising Prices

Maxwell House coffee jumped from $12.42 to $15.49 at Costco today. A $3.00 jump in price is steep.

Prices are rising, and will soon start to rise noticeably. I went to Walmart yesterday, and the almond milk that was $2.42 for months and months and months is now $2.63. The Yeungling 12 packs that have been the same price since literally the Obama years is now $1.50 more. Over $2.00 more at Publix.

With the war in Iran, gas prices will start to jump. That will be on Trump.
Another Synthia thread that went down in flames.

One wonders if you’ll go into hiding again for several months like you did when Kamala got destroyed on election night.

All prices are going up from Trump policies.

Here......you forgot a few important tidbits in your zeal, but no TACO for you

The number of head of cattle in the United States is at a low really not seen since the 1950s," said Nate Rempe, president and CEO of Omaha Steaks,
"That supply pressure is really putting a lot of upward pressure on price, especially as demand is still so strong in the U.S."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, meat prices have increased year-over-year, with steak up 7%, ground beef 10%, chicken nearly 3% and ham over 4%. Rempe believes the issue goes beyond tariffs and trade policy.

The American cattle herd hit historic lows this year, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The latest USDA report shows a multi-year pattern of decline in the number of cows and heifers.
How convenient you did not provide a link. I bet it was deliberate, wasn't it. You are dishonest.

Could it be because the cattlemen explained the beef shortage is due to TACO's TARIFFS?

"Supply is a tricky issue. You can’t just flip a switch, adjust a tariff," he said. "We need to rebuild the herd. And that’s [going to] happen over the next roughly 12 months."

.

While acknowledging the short-term strain of tariffs, Rempe also expressed support for efforts to renegotiate trade deals.

"I like exports. I like what it does for the industry and for the country," he said. "Foreign buyers tend to pay more for beef. That’s good for meat packers and for ranchers… but we do have to balance."

Meat prices stay high as cattle numbers hit lowest level since 1950s

A 7 percent increase in five months IS a big deal.

So is this.......that Dems, like you, refused to consider

  • Inflation surged to its highest level in over 40 years. Despite recent moderation, consumer prices are up more than 19% overall. Gasoline is up 46%.

I say again, how interesting you have already forgotten Trump promised to end rising prices on Day One.

Keep trying, kid! Your deflections aren't working.

'I will immediately bring prices down'

Trump specifically promised to end inflation on Day 1, cut energy bills in half within 12 to 18 months through expanded oil drilling, and bring down food costs right away.

"When I win, I will immediately bring prices down," Trump said during the campaign.

In interviews with hundreds of voters across the country last year, USA TODAY reporters overwhelmingly found that those who supported Trump believed he would be best for the economy. They said they trusted his policies would lead to higher wages, lower prices and more affordable housing.

Trump promised to improve the economy on Day 1. Americans are still waiting.

Why did you try to falsify the narrative?

I already showed the shortage and high prices were because of tariffs, yet you tried to obfuscate that fact because you could not handle the truth.

WTF are you even talking about????? I didn't 'falsify' anything but included other parts of YOUR article that YOU seemed to have missed and if doing that falsifies YOUR narrative, then so be it.

Maybe next time you post a thread, you'll pay closer attention to your source information instead of cherry picking.......thinking nobody would read the article to find out your lies. OOPS

How strange you have forgotten Trump promised to bring prices down on Day One.
Prices are down. Let me guess, you shop at some yuppie holier than thou leftist run grocery store paying $4.00 for the same bar of soap selling for $0.99 elsewhere
