Liberals have used riots or at least the threat of riots for years. They just threatened riots to influence the Jury in the George Zimmerman case.

obama artificically increased the number of food stamp recipients by raising the eligibility level to 400% of the poverty level. Then he hired (paid for by government salaries) recruiters to convince people who were supporting themselves that they didn't have to do that. They could get money from the government. Of course they took those benefits and spent the money on lap dances, booze, cigarettes and got cash advances from the ATM machines on cruise ships. Now liberals intend to use riots, by rioters they created, to threaten working people to pay what amounts to "protection money" to prevent rioting. All of which means, our government is acting like the Mafia, without Mafia efficiency.

Paying people not to be violent doesn't work. It increases the violence because the demands only get bigger. Using threat of riot, the United States can easily become a nation of the enslaved to the government and the army of "poor", will become well paid mercenaries in the government's cause.

Stop paying people not to riot. Let them riot. Having been in several riots, including two major riots by minorities, they burn their own houses down, then complain because they have no where to live.

What the curious thing is, why do minorities burn down their own homes? Detroit has entire neighborhoods that are burned out hulks. The sad result of citywide "devil's night" the night before Halloween when young people set fire to their own homes and the homes of their neighbors. In 1992, in the King Riot, black homeowners and store owners tried to save themselves by putting signs in windows "Black Owned". Those were burned FIRST! To this very day, South Los Angeles has structures that were burned almost down, in 1992. We still have the remnants of burned buildings from the 1965 Watts Riots!

Riots go the same way, the rioters are confined to limited areas where they loot and burn out their own people. They try to break out, then they are met with both government authority and armed private property owners.

It would be different, convey some benefit, IF in fact the arson resulted in some sort of new development. Forced urban renewal. It doesn't happen. They burned it, they live in it. If they want to riot yet again, go do it. Maybe someday these cognitive dysfunctional individuals will understand that they are just pawns for democrats and go get a job.

Dear Stephanie:

Don't you just love living in a nation where the Christian practices of charity are shunned based on religion, then people complain when govt can't handle all the costs of helping the poor.

Where private church schools are mocked for what they teach, but if we used that to run our prisons, then maybe we could have programs for rehabilitation and restitution to pay back society. Instead of punishing lawabiding taxpayers with billions of dollars paying for education, health care and execution for criminals who can't work and support themselves.

Where spiritual healing could cut the costs of crime, disease and treatment, but because of "separation of church and state" this knowledge of curing causes of conditions that cost millions more to medicate, is REJECTED. The govt cannot support that, yet it can mandate insurance to pay millions more for the symptoms, instead of curing the problems for free.

Seriously, Stephanie, I think this is not about what "starts a riot" but what "starts a CULT"

Since America has such an allergy to the very Christian beliefs that our Constitution has allowed free exercise of, maybe CHINA may be the first nation to recognize and mandate spiritual healing out of pure necessity to save and support their overpopulation. I'd be curious to post a challenge, and find out which nation would figure it out first, that spiritual healing is REAL, can be proven and practiced medically as safe and cost-effective. Would America be first to recognize it and prove it scientifically; or would China jump on it first, while America is still freaked out anything in religion could be proven by science.

If America is too dumbed down to figure out we have the answers right here, but are too busy rejecting them because of "fear of religion and churches taking over." While we fearlessly impose religious ideology through the govt, letting political parties and corporate interests take over.

We aren't afraid of wasting billions of dollars for politicians and media campaigns, believing in these candidates to magically "save us." Yet we mock giving money to churches, saying they are all scams. Who is running the bigger cult here?

And the SADDEST thing is that the charities are VOLUNTARY to support and spiritual healing are FREE. Why waste billions to enslave ourselves when solutions are free?
