It's a chat site for mainly elderly people , most of whom are nice ordinary people with no specialised experience or qualifications .
Do not try and paint a chat site into something it can never be .

I won't blame you for your ignorance. If you care about civil liberties,.human rights and freeeom, you will learn more. The Soviets of the 80s had Moscow full.of police in uniform, East Germany didn't. Both were police states. Canada is healthy mix of both with probably even LESS accountability and transparency.
